Jeff was very helpful with our dog Archie. We are seasoned dog owners but Archie was proving to be more defiant than our last dogs which is why we looked into some formal training. Jeff gave us the tools to train him quickly and effectively. We had two sessions and made a ton of progress. Would recommend!
I found Jeff online and reached out to him to help us train our labradoodle not to be aggressive with people coming to our door. He was very responsive and we first did a 20 minute phone consultation so he understood what was going on. Then he came to the house for a 90 minute in person session where he interacted with our dog and pretty quickly figured her out. He was super helpful in giving us lots of valuable information and ‘training us’ to train our dog. My husband and I felt it was an extremely useful session. Jeff’s whole focus was on helping us resolve the issue. He is highly intuitive, efficient with his time and delightful to work with. He followed up with a set of very useful materials. Jeff’s approach to working with the client and the dog is very effective and he clearly is very knowledgeable and experienced. I highly recommend him based on our experience. His prices are reasonable and transparent. We definitely plan to continue working with him.
I found Jeff online after searching for a dog trainer for a few days. We rescued our dog from the SPCA when he was about 10 months old. He was very reactive to strangers and wanted to improve on that reactivity. Jeff responded to my online inquiry fairly quickly and we got a phone call set up within 3 days (that's what worked best for both our schedules). We talked through some stuff over the phone and set up an actual in house session. I really liked that Jeff came to our house, because we wanted work on our dog's reactivity to new people in our house. Jeff's rates were also very reasonable, especially in comparison to some of the bigger companies I had reached out to. Jeff knew all my family member's names and had notes about the things we previously spoke about which I really appreciated. He gave us guidance on all the topics we wanted to go over and some bonus topics as well. He gave resources to refer back to and encouraged us to reach out if we had anymore questions or wanted to set up another session with him. We had done training classes with our dog before but the session with Jeff was great because it was catered specifically to our family's concerns and needs. Jeff was so nice and personable! I would encourage others to at least reach out to him and talk to him about what you and your pets' needs might be! Thanks again so much, Jeff!!
When we first brought our puppy Dexter home, he was shy and nervous around people. The first time we had visitors, he hid behind me, shivering. We knew we had to help him work through his fear while he was still young, so we reached out to trainers right away. Jeff was fantastic - calm, patient, and thorough. He took the time to look over our setup, offered practical advice, and left us with plenty of helpful resources. He was the first person Dexter ever approached on his own, which gave us hope that our puppy could learn to feel comfortable with strangers. Jeff also taught us how to guide visitors so Dexter never felt pressured, letting him make the first move at his own pace. Jeff kept checking in on Dexter’s progress even after our session, which meant a lot to us. Now, at 6 months old, Dexter is confident and social, and loves meeting our friends. Seeing how far he’s come has been such a relief. If you’re looking for a kind, knowledgeable dog trainer, I can’t recommend Jeff enough.

From day one, he made sure we not only understood what to do, but why it works...backing everything up with science and tons of helpful resources. His “train the trainer” approach allowed us to immediately implement changes that felt sustainable and realistic long-term, and were also financially feasible. We started seeing a difference in our dog Noodle’s behavior - especially with lunging after other dogs on walks - within just a week. Jeff’s guidance was clear, practical, and effective. He even gave us some initial helpful tips over email before our in-person session. What really sets Jeff apart is how generous he is with his time and knowledge. He never made us feel rushed and was always happy to address all our concerns, even outside the core training plan.
