We worked with Amy and her team at BGI from 2017 through the completion of our home in 2022. From start to finish Amy and her team were a dream to work with. She worked hand in hand with our architects during the design stages and then was on point throughout the entire build process dealing with vendors, trades and our builder. Every detail was meticulously planned, discussed and executed. After getting to know us Amy knew pretty much what we wanted without us even saying it. After 3 years of planning and 2 years of construction our dream home was completed and perfect. Over that time Amy became more than just someone we hired to design our home but someone we call a friend. Our home would not have been our home if not for Amy and her team.

They made what could have been a daunting experience truly enjoyable. By the end of the project, they felt like more than just designers—they became new family friends. Best interior designer I have ever worked with. Amy and her team adeptly used technology and plain old common sense to prepare detailed presentations of every aspect of the design for our home. She was quick, clear, responsive and provided invaluable feedback at every step of a clearly laid out multi-step design process. She made it fun!!!! We just finished renovating our game room, study, kitchen, and dining room. It looks great because of Barbara Gilbert and Amy Guess. We had no clue what we wanted, what would work, and how to do it. Barbara came to our home, listened to us talk about our goals and then began to show us in our minds what it could look like. We did not know a contractor but she had a name of an excellent company. Barbara and Amy were knowledgeable, easy to work with, and recognized our budget limitations. One of our difficulties is making choices of anything for the house and Barbara guided us, limiting the decision fatigue along the way.
