Fantastic! No rush with orders and dining time. Great service by well informed staff. Presentation of each dish is excellent. But the best is in the tasting. Wife had the lobster mornay and I had the wagyu steak, both were amazing taste sensations. Followed up with a shared dessert of delicious cheese cake. Thanks to all of the attendant staff and chefs.
Best steak and seafood in Brisbane! A beautiful space, with a knockout menu, been several times and every single dish I've tried has been SO good. Personal favourites are the roast pumpkin (yes - a side dish can be that good!), the tartare, and the Moreton bay bugs. Another tip I learnt from a waiter is to get a steak "tasting board" with friends - pick an Angus, a Wagyu, and a dry aged steak and share them to pick up the differences between the types.
Maggie took us to this place. Absolutely loved this place! The service was outstanding, we have Thomas serving us, who is thoughtful and hilarious. The food was delicious, we have tried so many entrees, and all of them are excellent. scollop is a must try! And the mousse deserts is so special taste with sea salt on it. Love everything there and the river view made it even more special. I believe it’s will be gorgeous to be there when it has the fireworks too! Everything is perfect!!! 100 Star if I could give. Can’t wait to come back!
The atmosphere is bright and modern, absolutely a beautiful place. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. All the dishes were wonderful, especially the recommended 80 Days Dry Aged Rib Eye Steak. Grilled to perfection, fragrant, and juicy with every bite, absolutely wonderful. The recommended wine paring also go very well with the steak. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back.
This was our first visit to Black Hide’s new location after several meals at the old Treasury Casino. The internal deco is bright and modern with amazing views. The staff is friendly and eager to help both with the menu and wine suggestions. All the dishes were wonderful but undoubtedly the star of the show was the steaks. We had the wagyu sirloin, rib eye and rump cap - all grilled to the perfect temperature and each had its own flavour profile. The sirloin was the table’s favourite. The price point is somewhat higher and with the weekend surcharge, it can get a bit pricey. It would be a good venue for special occasions.
