Bloc15 in Oakland, California, is one of the most vibrant and well-designed event venues I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere hits you the moment you step inside, industrial yet polished, with sleek lighting and a layout that perfectly balances open energy and intimate vibes. The sound system is clean and powerful, ideal for battles, performances, and parties alike. Every corner feels like it was built for creatives to shine. I had the honor of competing and winning the “Double or Nothing” popping battle there in 2025, and the energy that night was unreal. The crowd was hyped, the dancers came with heavy styles, and the judges held everyone to a high standard exactly the kind of environment that makes you push past your limits. Bloc15 gave the event a professional yet underground feel, with smooth transitions between showcases, battles, and staged cyphers. Beyond the dance floor, the venue’s staff were welcoming and on point, making sure everything ran smoothly. Whether it’s a dance event, concert, or private function, Bloc15 delivers the perfect mix of culture, class, and creativity. Oakland’s dance scene felt alive in that space and I’ll never forget the night I took home my first Oakland win🏆
