I brought my partner in for the Steam and Soak as his birthday present and I have mixed reviews. I love the concept of a private steam and soak and the customer service was wonderful. Included were thoughtful touches like herbal tea, spa water, and chilled neck towels in the fridge. The covered jacuzzi area is lovely and has great ambience. But the problem, which is pretty major, is the jacuzzi itself. More than half the nozzles are completely broken and I would describe the spa as only moderately clean. We weren’t asked to shower before hand and you can tell people have been depositing their sweat, body oils, and lotions into the water and it just gives a yuck factor. But the broken nozzles made for a very disappointing experience because with some working and some not, you couldn’t enjoy them at all. One seat had all five jets working. One had three working so you had jets on one side of your back and not on the other side of your back which felt terrible. The other seat only had one working jet, which is completely useless. And the foot jets near the bottom also did not work. I paid $250 for this service and felt like that is an appropriate price to pay if all the jets are working and the hot tub is sparkling clean but it was a major overpayment for what we actually received. When the service is centered around the hot tub, you can’t charge that sort of fee when it doesn’t work properly. I advised the front desk but I don’t know if they will do anything about it. I can’t imagine they didn’t already know, and they offered no price adjustment for their broken equipment. The takeaway here is that until they fix the jets and start taking better care of the hot tub’s cleaning requirements, this service is just not worth it. Another thing to note, just to adjust your expectations, is that the steam shower is extremely small. I imagined two people would be able to sit in it but it’s a small shower for one with no seating at all (just a small stool to put the body scrubs/facial products on). I was disappointed by that, and I wish I would have known before hand so I could have adjusted my expectations. I wouldn’t have paid extra for the body scrubs if I had known we weren’t going to be able to sit in the steam shower and enjoy them, so I definitely would not recommend doing that. Again, it’s a great concept, but the execution is lacking and the price is way too high for what you actually get.

The spa itself is nice. I got a gel manicure and a 30 minute Camellia head and neck treatment. They head and neck treatment was great, the LMT was awesome. I got it for my nervous system and it was very grateful. The manicure was not so great. I took these pictures 6 days after the manicure and its already chipping and cracking, its lumpy and uneven, and there's obvious texture from the top coat. I never have an issue with gel lasting less than 2 weeks, even when I do it myself at home. I specifically went to a spa to get a manicure because I wanted a quiet space and a lot of attention to detail. Everyone was very sweet and attentive, and it was quiet and relaxing, but the manicure just wasn't it. Just a huge bummer because its not cheap at all.

I've had a number of facials in my life, this place delivered the best facial experience I've had. Katie was amazing and the treatments and special touches of the facial are truly worth the money.

I received a deluxe spa pedicure from Sydney. It was such a relaxing lovely experience. My toes and feet look well pampered. Blooming Moon from entrance to exit is such a vibe. 10/10 recommend. Thank you! Edit: I received a brow wax from Jill today that was fabulous. Excellent service and accommodations. Thanks again!
