Huge thank you to the amazing team at Bob Jane T-Marts Newcastle for absolutely saving our holiday! A special shout-out to Caity and the boys in the workshop for fitting us in last minute! Nothing was too much trouble they were friendly, calm, professional and genuinely cared about getting us back on the road safely. Worst customer service and will not be going back for sure. I’ve always used Bob Jane but not from now on. I did enquire about a wheel and a tyre. The staff asked me for the wheel & tyre size. The car was parked right in front of the shop and I asked her if that’s okay if I quickly go and grab it. She said yes that’s okay. When I got back, I saw her walking with another customer while I was standing and waiting there to give her the details. She ignored me and didn’t even ask if I had the details. I waited for a while and then left.

Really really disappointed in these guys after what appeared to be a good start. I had a vibration in my car an Audi S3 which needed a wheel alignment/ balance after I had new wheels fitted. The guy at the desk told me the balance was way out and they had fixed the balance and it should drive like a new car! I get in the car to drive home and I couldn’t believe it the exact same vibration was there, and my wallet was nearly $200 lighter. What made the situation worse was when I rang up the guy seemed defensive about it, it took him forever to say to bring it back in and then when i said tomorrow, oh no no we are too busy, then another day, oh oh we may have time etc…. Then I was made to feel like it was somehow the car’s fault or my fault, that they had put it in the machine and put in the settings that should be put in the machine and that was that, it had to be something else. No professional analysis, no money back guarantee, just umms and ahhs and made me feel like I’ve paid my money its too bad now… AFTER he had told me at the time there was a 2 week or 500km guarantee… IF your going to give a guarantee MEAN it, don’t try and fob people off and blame everything else, PATHETIC

Had a lovely experience at this Bob Jane T-Mart. Caitlyn was the person who took my booking, and she explained everything to me in a way that even a dolt like me could understand, and was patient with my questions and attempts to explain what it was I required (I meander a lot when talking). She even helped teach me a few things about tyre management and what signs to look for in tyres for damage and wear. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable and understood, and I'm exceedingly thankful for her efforts - service like this definitely instills trust and a desire to return in the futute. My new tyres are fantastic and the mechanics did a wonderful job. Super thankful for all the staff there and their work!

Disappointed. Rang and booked in. Apparently the person I spoke to was at a call centre. The actual shop rang back later to say that they could not cope with an alignment. Accepted this and proceeded to drive 1.5hrs to get a set of tyres. Tried to tell me that they now could not fit me in. I insisted that they replace at least two tyres as they were unsafe to continue. Thankfully they agreed to replace the two tyres. I appreciate it’s hard sometimes when people are sick. It is frustrating when call centres take bookings that the local shop is not able to complete.
