Old school Zen in Boise's North End. A beautiful space for this traditional practice. What can a bona fide Zen priest teach you about meditation? The only way to know is to visit.

I am so appreciative for a peaceful space that offers contemplation and community. Jisen is the real deal—a knowledgeable, kind and generous person that welcomes all. She caters to children too, which is such a fulfilling opportunity for them to experience the Zen practice. It is no pressure; just the opportunity to sit, be, breathe and explore.

A simple space sets the stage for the practice of sitting and walking meditation. Although the traditional way of sitting cross legged on a cushion is available, chairs and other modified sitting postures are offered, and Reverend Jisen is knowledgeable in matters of taking care of muscles and joints. The practice of Zen is beautifully facilitated here and I highly recommend trying it for yourself. There's nothing to believe and nothing to achieve.

Jisen came and spoke to my students about Zen Buddhism. She is open, approachable, and my students enjoyed their experience with her.
