Great little used bookshop! We found a nice selection of some vintage pulp titles that are hard to find at most used bookstores. Definitely will be back.
I recently discovered Booktraders in the Garland District- went there for a white elephant book exchange. This little bookstore is very much my kind of place, with books books everywhere you look, and section after section the farther in you go. I did have a little trouble locating specific authors, but the owner (I believe) was very helpful when I asked about particular books or authors- she knew what she had and exactly where they would be located and could walk me right to what I was looking for, so don't be fooled- this place is organized, just overflowing with books. I will say that the selection seems to lean toward literary and general fiction rather than genre fantasy/sci fi/horror. I couldn't find any de Lint or le Guin, and the horror section seemed to be at least 75% Koontz. I found pricing to be very reasonable- 2.50 for mass market paperbacks, varying prices for oversize paperbacks or hardbacks. Both the books I purchased looked brand new and unread. Paperback Stephen King was 2.50, the oversized John Irving paperback was 6.50. I will absolutely come here again- it's the kind of place where a book lover can comfortably spend hours browsing.
So many books everywhere, feels almost like a movie scene with how many books there are, and there's about three rooms. I found a book there I've been wanting to read for a while totally by coincidence!! And also everything is priced very well. Love the 25c cart, stocked up my schools library using it. Love this place
I love this place, I'm currently trying to get all the book in the Nancy Drew series, and have found a lot in it, just by going here. from the outside it looks small, but really one you walk inside its like a Harry Potter, Rowan Wesley house thing, and then with how it just stretches' and all, its like the stretching hallways scene form the motive The Haunted Mansion.
A fantastic used book store in Spokane! I recently found this gem which has all sorts of used books and the store itself goes back much farther than you’d expect. The prices are great and the store is organized by genre with maps throughout the store to assist you. I highly recommend giving this place a visit.
