Jeff from Boston K9 LLC was amazing! I reached out to him for help with my reactive 4-month old Dutch Shepard puppy, and he was incredibly responsive, enthusiastic, and flexible. Plus my puppy absolutely loved him! During our first session he spent some time playing and interacting with my puppy to evaluate his temperament and behavior. He then introduced us to several basic obedience commands, breaking them down into easy to follow steps. He also identified a trigger my puppy had that I wasn’t even aware of, and set me up with specific daily exercises to reduce this. At the end of our first session, Jeff gave us easy to follow daily training homework to do before our next meeting, training supplies, and a personalized list of recommended lifestyle changes to set us up for success. I can’t recommend him enough!

Jeff is an incredible trainer and human being. He is extremely knowledgeable and just an absolute natural with dogs. Our Rufus, a mini Aussie, loves him so much and so do we. I cannot recommend him more highly, he is a consummate professional and incredibly caring and genuine person.

I’ve worked with several trainers over the years, and Jeff is truly the best by far. He has a deep understanding of German Shepherds and their specific needs, which really sets him apart. He took the time to listen to our goals and challenges and thoughtfully tailored his training approach. In just 6 lessons, we saw a remarkable improvement in our dog’s obedience, focus, and impulse control. Jeff is incredibly easy to talk to, patient, and a pleasure to work with. The advice and practical recommendations he shared continue to make a difference well beyond our sessions. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Jeff is a stellar trainer. So stellar many police departments trust him to train their dogs. We did a 6 session basic obedience package with him and he personalized it to our needs and catered it based on our dogs strengths and weaknesses. He is available on demand for questions and support. Well worth the investment. On top of that, his prices are quite reasonable compared to other options.

I highly recommend Boston k9 LLC. Jeff trained our 2 dogs to get used to the city, not react to other dogs, and meet people without jumping. Our dogs’ behavior before and after working with Boston k9 is like night and day. Jeff worked with us every step of the way and took the time to explain how and why. I wouldn’t go to any other dog trainer besides Jeff in the future.
