Highly recommend! Mark was incredible with us and our new puppy. He was very knowledgeable, attentive, and effective at training the basics. He gave us the confidence and the tools to independently train our puppy. We look forward to working with him again in the future!
Mark is incredible! He has gone above and beyond to help us with our puppy, Ridge. He is incredibly patient, knowledgeable and resourceful. We have absolutely loved working with him and are so grateful to have found Tricked Out Pup! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to help train their dog.
We loved working with Mark. Ollie is 2 and we had not done puppy training with him. He is very easily excitable and Mark helped guide us to find enrichment activities for Ollie that helped him get out his mental and physical energy. He helped Ollie learn to be calm when seeing someone new. We always left our sessions with something new to try and practice with Ollie. He made so much progress in his lessons! Thank you, Mark!
I don’t write google reviews- mostly because (in my opinion) it’s either people who are super pissed off or the opposite. In my case, I would give this business six stars if I could. Mark is an exceptional dog trainer. He’s kind, patient, and flexible to your dogs needs and especially your schedule. I did puppy training for my Cavapoo and Mark helped me every step along the way. For some, it may make sense monetarily and time wise to possibly train your new pup via Youtube or other mediums on your own. For me, as a brand new dog owner with a very young puppy, I wanted to invest in the best training possible (without breaking the bank) to set my dog up for success and learn from a professional while also destroying my dogs bad habits that caused headaches and the “puppy blues.” Working with Mark did wonders for my dog. I saw the weekly change in his ability to listen to commands and have fun learning and being trained. I could go on and on but I will say if you’re looking to invest in your companion and teach them , Mark is the premium option in Boston that will leave you satisfied and happy with your investment in education and training. Not only will your dog learn, but you as an owner will gain top of the line learning techniques to bond with your dog and teach them learning and training is fun and worthwhile. I can’t say enough about Mark and his business. Plenty of strangers, family, and friends have commented on how well reserved, attentive, and respectful my dog is from the time I spent training at Tricked Out Pup. When I first started working with Mark, my dog refused to pee and poop outside. Now he refuses to pee inside and sits, stays, and heels at all my commands. If you put in the work , you will reap the benefits. Working with Mark will exponentially fast-track anything you do on your own. I’m so happy I chose to train my pup here and if you’re in the Boston area and you want to invest in top line dog training, learning, and mentorship, please give Mark a call. I’m so glad I did.
Finley has been a part of Mark and Jim’s pack for the last 2.5-3 years until we moved recently to the suburbs. We first engaged Mark to help train Finley with off leash recall when he was a puppy, and my husband and I learned so much not only about honing in on recall specific skills, but also understanding Finley’s behaviors. Since then, we slowly added on regular walking but shifted quickly to daycare when tricked out pup officially opened in the south end. Even during his early walks, Finley would be so excited to go and exhausted when he came back. During daycare, Mark and Jim would send us regular videos and pictures of Finley with his friends. What I appreciated most was the structure of the daycare. The day is balanced between exercise (indoor play, outdoor play, walks) and training (agility, basic commands) to reinforce good behaviors. I also knew that Finley was safe with them - tricked out pup vets each dog they take in for day care, and they only take 20-25 dogs a day with 3+ humans on staff so there’s a good ratio to watch the dogs and give individual attention to each. They picked up and dropped off at our apartment complex as well which was a great plus. But beyond all of these specific “offerings”, the best part is that Mark and Jim have so much love for Finley, and over the years have truly become part of our family. I cannot recommend them enough for training or day care needs if you’re around the south end area!!
