Cannot maintain appointments. Well worse than any other medical provider in the massachusetts area.

The next appointment on September 9, 2025 is for September 11, 2026. When I asked how my child will get vaccinated meanwhile, the answer was "they cannot but only for this one year"

I’ve been a patient at Boston Medical since childhood and have experienced both positive and negative aspects over the years. Recently, when my long-time primary care doctor went on leave, several of my appointments were canceled. I agreed to be reassigned to a new doctor without much thought. However, after my previous provider left, I was never properly connected with an adult primary care physician. Since June 2024, I’ve spent months calling Boston Medical to reschedule my canceled appointments. Every time I called, I was transferred between multiple departments, and the staff were consistently unhelpful and, at times, rude—even after I explained that I’m on medication for anxiety and depression and urgently needed a physical for school. I even went in person to the pediatric office, only to find that the staff were extremely unprofessional and rude, even hanging up on me multiple times. To add to my frustration, I unexpectedly received an email stating that I was now too old for pediatric care. When I reached out to the adult primary care department, I was informed that my records were still flagged under pediatric care, and no immediate solution was offered. I am now on a waitlist for an adult primary care provider, with no available appointments. I truly miss the care I received from my previous doctor, who had known my medical history since I was nine years old. This transition has been extremely frustrating and disappointing, and I hope Boston Medical improves its process for managing patient transitions and communications.

Worst hospital ever. Had to be an appointment for my 10 month old baby, the secretary hung up on me 3 times, gave me the run around for 3 days to find out that it took 72 hours for a referral and we needed to be seen in 24 hours for his lung issue. Got referred to boston childrens instead and got in right away. They are all rude, extremely unprofessional, and unorganized. Dont waste your time.

Boston Medical Center, become one of the most bad hospital in Boston where you called to make an appointment because you’re sick. They told you they cannot make an appointment for you until next year. And they don’t care about you sick or not. It is frustrating because I give birth to my son at this hospital and they used to care about people and they don’t care anymore. Both for adults and kids. I called to make an appointment for my son physical is going to summer camp on July and they answer me. They cannot make a physical till next January. I asked the receptionist if I don’t get that physical my son is going to miss summer camp and they say it is nothing she can do about it they full book until next year. It’s really disappointing for seeing people who don’t care about all the people especially the hospital.
