We stayed 5 nights for our daughters wedding. The location was so perfect. So close to everything. We stay in the newer room, "Julian". Its is behind the main house on the 2nd floor. Give a treehouse feel. It has a private balcony and huge living room. The in-laws stayed in the "Roselyn" room. We were able to hang and get to know them. It was so perfect. Bryan & Sherry have done a great job. If you stay here Try to have a meal at Shoal Creek Saloon. I so would stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The suite was wonderful. Very charming and comfortable. Comfy bed and bedding. The location is fantastic without the big parking fees of downtown hotels. I spoke to the owner a couple of times before our trip and met him at breakfast. He's very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend the lovely and historic Brava House for a comfortable and peaceful stay.
Pictures does not do this place justice whatsoever. It is THAT beautiful. The rooms are phenomenal. Everything is so clean, and SO comfy. I will genuinely never stay anywhere else in Austin. I literally love this place more than SoHo house or any other hotel in Austin. I will recommend Brava House to everyone I know. The owners are the kindest people, and they are so quick to respond and to accommodate. This is a very special place, and the energy is sacred and very very warm.
My husband and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Brava House. It was our first time in Austin, and I'm so grateful we booked here. We stayed in the Casablanca Room, which was just gorgeous. The clawfoot bathtub was absolutely stellar. Every part of the room felt wonderful and cozy, and we looked forward to returning every day. The neighborhood was very walkable, too - even at night! For being so close to the city, it was never super-noisy or difficult to drive to. Sherry and Brian were wonderful hosts! They were so kind, so accommodating, and also just a blast to chat with. We unfortunately overslept on our last day there and missed breakfast entirely. However, on our way out Sherry still took the time to visit with us. She let us know what we had missed that morning, made us feel included, and even gave us a goodbye hug as we checked out. Their son and granddaughter joined us for breakfast our first day. We asked for dinner recommendations - he already had a curated list ready to go, but also took the time to ask us our preferences and even found a place within walking distance of Brava House. The entire stay was sprinkled with little touches like this that made us feel welcome and appreciated, and I hope they felt our appreciation in return. On our way home, my husband and I agreed that if we ever returned to Austin, we'd stay at Brava House. In fact, if we ever returned to Austin, it would BE to stay at Brava House.
My wife and I recently stayed at Brava House in the Casablanca Room (9/19-9/22). First, we love the location. Located a block west off of N Lamar, you would never know you are in the city. The neighborhood is quiet, very pretty and shaded. The owner, Bryan, was great! The room was wonderful. Private bathroom with a claw foot tub/ shower. Tons of towels, amenities. We had breakfast there every morning (fresh fruit, bagels/muffins, yogurt/granola, egg sandwiches). Overall, we were very happy there! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
