I was looking for a good brunch place to take my boyfriend for brunch and I came across this place. It wasn't as fancy as I pictured it to be. All of the fountain drinks were out and they were also out of the canned drinks, so I settled with the hot chocolate. The menu wasn't that big and they close pretty early. The food wasn't bad, but it was nothing special, I could have made this at home.

Clean, bright cafe across from Hilton Garden Inn. I wanted better than a hotel breakfast this day. Walked in, picked up menu and sat while I decided. Went with veggie omelet which was a good size and good flavor. Seasoned potatoes we ok. Bacon was greasy and fatty not a fan. Side biscuit tasty.

My husband and I visited the area and literally stumbled upon this cute cozy cafe. We were in town for a week and spent four mornings there for breakfast. We came during the Christmas holiday and as soon as we entered the cafe we heard this jubilant voice embrace us: “Good morning y’all…Merry Christmas! Grab a table then come to the counter and order…we’ll take care of you baby!”And boy did they! A hearty breakfast that did not disappoint, Southern quick service and a smile that simply lit up the room. Needless to say, between us, we have dubbed her Momma Christmas based on the jubilance and love that exudes in her spirit. As a Northerner, this southern hospitality hit just right…we will back to Bread and Butter EVERY time we visit New Orleans! Thank you Bread and Butter! 🧈 💕

A hidden gem. Awesome place to grab breakfast in New Orleans. Very close to the French Quarter, and unlike any other overrated breakfast restaurants, they have truly great southern breakfast! Tasty egg Benedict! High recommended!

This food was so good. My waffles were so soft and fluffy. The fruit topping was fresh and sweet. My bacon was crisssp and my over medium eggs were cooked perfectly. The grits were the right consistency and breakfast potatoes were crisp and seasoned well. I enjoyed the entire breakfast. This was my first time visiting and I still be back.
