I used Bristol Upholstery to replace my cheap, rubbish sofa cushions with 2 larger ones so that I could sit and lay comfortably. I had a lot of correspondence with them beforehand. I always have a lot of questions, and was always met with patience and prompt replies. Everyone I spoke with on email/phone/in person were just so lovely and helpful- they all really care about the business and helping you, and it shows. I believe it is a small local business, and you just don’t get this kind of care with larger corporations. I took one of my old cushions in store, and I could choose as many samples as I wanted so I could check them at home against the whole sofa with the different lighting. The lady helping me choose fabrics really took the time to look though all the suitable options (there are SO many to choose from), and she did not pressure me in the slightest to commit, and told me I can take my time and think about it at home before paying a deposit. I was also able to choose from soft/medium/firm, and in store you can feel in person how they are having been worn in. I am very happy with my new cushions, and although they are new so I cannot tell yet how they wear in, I feel confident they will keep their bounce unlike my existing cushions. This confidence comes from trying the ‘worn in’ ones out in the shop, and also due to the (if I remember correctly) 5 year warranty included. This really is a lovely company from start to finish.
