Lovely space to practice yoga! Pay what you can for ALL classes and they have mats and props to use too! Street parking is easy, try Broad St (depending on time of day you may need to pay) or Goshen St for free parking (1 & 2 hr parking) -- just leave a few extra minutes so you aren't stressed :) Or the closest GRTC Pulse bus stop is the VCU & VUU stop, only a 3 minute walk to the studio!

The vibe here is easeful from the moment I entered the In Her Power building. There is a natural flow to the space right down to the entrance's curved walls! Smaller classes add to the personal feel as does the "show up as you can, and are" attitude of the teachers. Its a hidden gem!

Broad Yoga is a wonderful addition to the RVA yoga scene! Not needing to sign up in advance is great for the days where I’m not quite sure of my schedule, and I love that the pay-what-you-can pricing structure makes it accessible for everyone. Can’t wait to take more classes here!

Broad has gorgeous and cozy practice space that is the perfect setting for practice! Payment for class is scaled to what you can contribute. Hatha yoga class with Deirdre was sequenced to create a grounding and expansive experience. Breath work and a solid series of hip openers had me loving class. Intimate setting so it’s easy to connect and discover more from the teachers!

I love practicing in this space! It feels so warm, welcoming, and inviting, and I’ve enjoyed all the classes (Hatha, Vinyasa, and Restorative) I’ve taken. Parking is easy (Broad St or Grace St have worked for me) and the location right on VCU campus is super convenient. The fact that it’s pay-what-you-can is so unique for our area too. Highly recommend!
