We have been more than happy with the service provided by Eric and Adrien. They arrived on time, one day after our initial request, and performed a marvellous and professional job repair of our leaking kitchen sink and pipes. They were both very easy to communicate with and explained patiently, and in great detail, how we need to use new sink parts to avoid future damage and what to pay attention to regarding some old copper pipes embedded in our walls. This all went beyond what was expected for this service but exactly what is needed by every eager client hoping to avoid future mistakes. Their guidance and professional advice were priceless. The techs at Brooks Plumbing are quite good and easy to work with. The problem is the owner. He is an absolute jerk. The plumber came to the house to clear a drain that took 5 minutes and stated the charge would be $120 which I felt was reasonable. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to pay while the technician is at the house. The next day I received a bill for $270. When I politely called to ask about the bill amount, he hung up on me before I could finish my opening sentence. I called back and asked why he would hang up on me when I've been a customer for years. He said he didn't need my business since he has lots of customers. He has hung up on me several times in the past but I have always come back since I love the technicians. No more. I can't take the risk of getting charged $270 for 5 minutes of work (when the tech said $120).
