We had purchased a new furnace and air conditioner in August of last year. Everything is running smoothly. Recently Cameron came out to perform a maintenance check as part of the service package we purchased. Cameron was very professional and personable. He explained everything very well. He was also able to do some additional work that was required after his inspection that same day. We are very impressed with Cameron and hope to see him again for future inspections.

I would not recommend Browns plumbing and heating. I just needed a main line snake and have an easily accessible clean out in an unfinished basement. Very easy job. They gave me 3 options in the quote, $1500, $900, and $770. It was a $300 job. I had to pay the $129 service fee and asked them to leave. I went to Home Depot and rented an auger for $70 and did it myself. It took me 2 hours including transport back and forth to pick up the auger. For my time I would pay a plumber $300, plus the auger is heavy and it’s hard work I would prefer not to do. But not for $770, biggest up-charge I have ever seen. Imagine if someone didn’t know better and paid $1500. I wasn’t going to write a negative review, but to top it all off they have been texting me every few days for like two weeks since asking for me to leave a review, so here it is.

Hi , having put in a Mitsubishi heat pump(air) which needed servicing and all sorts of issues had arisen after spending time with it and in addition needing new expert. I was very very pleasantly surprised to see Ryan show up at the door . He is by far the best person we have had here, and I have had the top of Winnipegs experts here . Ryan is especially customer orientated and an extremely competent, knowledgeable , and we will not hesitate to use him in the future.

The two technicians that came today, Kaan and Josh were prompt and very courteous. They did a great job setting everything up and replacing my AC unit. When they were done, they had shown me pictures of the work they did in the crawlspace and explained a few things to me then proceeded to.asked me if I had any questions for them. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves, they even asked me if I wished for them to take away the old AC unit and condenser for me. It was such a good experience that I recommend everyone to give Brown’s Plumbing And Heating call for any AC/furnace upgrades! Thanks again to Kaan and Josh for the job well done!!
