December 22, 2025 Subject: Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Conduct I would like to formally express a concern regarding my recent visit. I want to begin by stating that the staff who received me and conducted the eye examinations were extremely kind, respectful, and professional. Their attitude made me feel welcome and comfortable, and I truly appreciate their work. However, my experience changed when I interacted with the person responsible for showing and offering the eyeglass frames. Although she did not use explicitly rude language, her attitude was condescending, dismissive, and unprofessional. Her tone, facial expressions, and manner of speaking made me feel uncomfortable and judged. She repeatedly emphasized that I could only choose from a very limited selection of frames, and that any other option would require additional payment, without providing clear explanations or demonstrating empathy. The interaction felt rushed and pressured, rather than patient-centered. I believe this type of behavior is inappropriate in a healthcare-related setting and does not reflect the level of respect and professionalism that patients deserve. I am submitting this complaint in hopes that this matter can be addressed, as no patient should feel uncomfortable or disrespected while receiving care.

Doctors are good and checkups are well. But, DO NOT order your glasses there, especially with bi-focal lens. It take about 4 months to complete an order. And person who made my glass even did not thanked what does they made, they put 2nd lens exactly on middle of lens 50/50 🤦‍♂️. I reordered it, and it took additional 3 months to complete, and this time, they lowered it, but moved to close to nose, and I can focus my view. Terrible lens preparation. Just do your checkup and go to paid normal brands or other, and order your glasses there, sometimes within few hours. Also, they have limited collections of frame to choose from.

I canceled all my morning meetings just to accompany my spouse to his appointment here—he doesn't speak English, the insurance is under my name, and I'm the one paying. Despite this, they rudely informed me I wasn't allowed to enter and had to wait outside. Extremely disappointing experience; I would not recommend this place at all.

Today I took my mother and I didn't have a good experience. The frames are over price!! . I wanted to ask for the prescription and they told me that it was no longer possible and they didn't want to return the money because the payment had already been made. I didn't see any more information given to her, only that she has 60 days to pick up the glasses and pay what is left.

This place was awesome. My first experience was a beautiful one. My wife is the one who referred me to Buena Vista. Be prepared to wear a mask and wait till the door is opened for you to come inside. They take the COVID Guidelines very seriously. They consider the safety of their workers and clients. There is parking at the back of the building and the entrance for appointments is through the side. The Dr. Who did my exam was Very polite, friendly, and had great energy. Overall the doctor was amazing to me. When it was time to pick my glasses, the staff were patient, gentle, open-minded, and provided Many options before I finalized my decision. I would refer this place to anyone who is looking for a great Experience.
