I decided to give this gym a try since my sister used it in North Carolina and had an amazing experience. I signed up for the 3 month student membership. The trainers are nice and overall it was an okay experience but the contracts with them is not very transparent and they have hidden fees in their contracts they do not tell you about up front! I signed up for the 3 month student contract was $134 per month and then during the 3 months I randomly see a charge for $50 charge. I emailed about the charge and they state that it’s a maintenance fee that is required by everyone. I thought that was odd especially for a gym that charges so much but I brushed it off. After my 3 month membership was over I haven’t been to the gym in weeks due to the times not working for me as I started working again but I thought since my 3 month was over I was done. Then I got charged again for the 4th month. When I inquired about the charge they told me that they automatically renew unless you have a written notes 30days before the charge! My sister’s gym in North Carolina usually asks explicitly to renews her membership and never gets automatically charged. While they do claim that they have all this in their contracts while signing none of this was ever communicated! It’s very misleading and deceptive! Before joining this franchise of the gym ensure you understand that it’s not as transparent as it may seem and seems very nickel and dime when it comes to money
