Visited Burning Springs Spa this past weekend, during a terrible winter storm. The spa was fantastic. I received a massage by Dan, which was lovely. Very relaxing. Probably the best massage I've ever had, to be honest. The outdoor pools were beautiful in the snow! The spa was clean and staff were lovely. It is a small outdoor area, not meant to accommodate a large amount of people. Perfection!
It was our first time going there my husband and I. We unfortunately didn’t have enough time to enjoy the outdoor thermal pods but our massages were amazing. When we are in the area again we will definitely be checking it out!
An amazing experience!! 3 different temperature pools outside - 105, 95 and 60 degrees. I really enjoyed going from the hot to cold pool. The area inside is super relaxing with a nice warm pool as well. We really loved the Himalayan salt sauna inside, it’s not as hot as a normal sauna and feels really nice. You are provided with lockers (no need to bring a lock as you set a code) also provided with robes and sandals. We can’t wait to go back, it was so relaxing! Really positive experience.
The water smells heavily of chlorine — nothing like natural thermal springs. The pools are tiny, barely enough space for two people, and it’s obvious they’re just filled with regular tap water, not anything mineral or thermal. The facilities are in poor condition: tiles are chipped, paint is cracked, and the pools look neglected. There was hair floating in the water, dead bugs, and visible brown residue in the corners — it felt unhygienic and poorly maintained. The outdoor area is shockingly small, just a few meters wide, fenced off right next to a building wall. It looks nothing like the photos online — those must have been taken from very flattering angles. Hardly anyone was there during my visit, which honestly makes sense. Overall, this place feels misleading and far from the relaxing, natural spa experience it advertises. Definitely not worth the price.
Let's start with the great parts! We absolutely loved the saunas, hot tubs, the thermal springs and indoor pool and area. It wasn't busy the day we were there and so we seemingly had those areas to ourselves. The staff were also very friendly and super accommodating. Now, for the not so great. The locker room was very small and crowded. There was literally two other people in there and we were right next to each other which was a little awkward. The waiting area was comfy but loud as it is close to reception and locker rooms. We had the couples massage and facial package and for what we got, it was extremely over-priced. The massage was mid at best, the bed cold and uncomfortable. I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want a spa experience in the area.
