Firstly, for such a nice spa with an amazing view - i was hoping for so much more out of this experience. Upon arrival - the check in was smooth and the girls were nice. I was given a pair of sandles and lead to the change room. I struggled for a long while, trying to get the locker to actually shut and lock. (Witnessed multiple women with the same issue) I was lead to the waiting room and told to fill out paper work while awaiting my massage. I looked at the wall which stated - "quiet zone - no cell phones." Let me preface - I am a mom to a toddler and never have a moment to myself - i was really looking forward to this and the "quiet." Please train your staff who run the mani/pedi section to shut the door if they want to have loud conversations. I sat waiting for 10-15 minutes and had the pleasure of listening to your staffs work schedules, benefits, pays and what they disliked about their jobs. It was infuriating. Then to listen to them rip open boxes and the sound of glass bottles smashing around. So much for my a quiet and peaceful experience. I'm not saying you can't talk at work - but shutting the door or whispering would suffice. I felt like I was back at home listening to my toddler play and bang things around. My massage was good. But again, a lot of conversation from the masseuse. I spoke to the women at the front desk about how I felt. They apologized and I was given 4 complimentary tester creams and 4 chocolate kisses as an apology..... $200 later. I was also told its a small facility so there isnt much room to separate sections. I mentioned how pilar and post spa in niagara on the lake has a quiet section reserved for quiet and its very relaxing.. Nothing like spending my hard earned money for a relaxing Saturday afternoon to listen to complaining. If anything - a discount would have been great. For a high end spa with a great location - its disappointing how this facility is run.
We had the most perfect girls getaway at Christienne. The setting is so lovely, with views of the mighty Niagara Falls. We were pampered every step up the way. The contouring body wrap was so relaxing. The staff was so generous and kind. We will certainly be back.
The Swedish relaxation massage is nice, great therapist. Taking out one star for the general services. Complementary tea is also nice. I wasn’t sure how to book the hydrotherapy tub, so I called the number on google but couldn’t reach anyone. They called back the next day but I couldn’t pickup my bad. But when I call back on the same number, it’s a huge menu of selections of the hotel booking, there’s no option for the spa, and I don’t know the extension, so turned out my inquiry never got answered before I arrived. I would suggest the front desk to leave voicemail message when calling guest, informing about the extension and details. And update phone number on google if necessary. The route from parking lot to here is complicated, although the email informed about how to reach from lobby and where to park, I’d suggest adding more details about which parking lot to use and how to get the directions.
The experience was top notch 10 out of 10 recommend! From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and ease, and it was so relaxing. The masseuse was highly professional, and everything just felt so great! The Hydrospa tub was one of a kind overlooking the falls.
my husband and I went yesterday for massages to celebrate his birthday, it was such a wonderful experience. when life is busy it's hard to slow down and this spa let us do exactly that, sat and relaxed with tea and a view, I had a hot stone massage and my husband and deep tissue. highly reccomended
