What an incredible experience, Ratchet made this worth wild! We did screaming metal, although we did not escape, this is probably the best escape room I have ever done!

Absolutely stunning and beautiful games. Well crafted and well kept. Very good Game Masters too! My personal favorite was Dreamwalkers, very unique set and very fun puzzles, and really challenging! =)

I have always dreamed of someday coming to Quebec City for escape rooms, primarily for two companies. Cabinet Mysteriis was one of them. They absolutely did not disappoint. Our gamemaster Michael was both an excellent host as well as a genuinely interesting presence in the first two games (I did not get the name of the other host, but she was excellent as well). I have played so many escape rooms over the years, so it's rare to find a company so strongly innovative in any particular aspect. Cabinet Mysteriis used interesting, actor-driven interactions along with immersive (and playful!) set design and extremely strong tasks. The crown jewel is undoubtedly Dream Walkers, a playful nightmare that gave me the same kind of childlike wonder as the best children's novels, while retaining a distinct edge. The puzzles were super fun and thematic, especially in conjunction with the morbid whimsy of the set. Screaming Metal is undeniably a game with a grittier aesthetic, taking influence from films such as Mad Max. However, there is still that edge of curiosity and wonder in the interactions, including probably the best interpretation of a classic escape room challenge I have ever seen. Magnum Opus was actually purchased from a (sadly now closed) company in Montreal, but it feels at home here. While it is the darkest narrative of the games we played, the tactile nature of the props combined with some absolutely excellent epiphany-driven gameplay made it a perfect end to a great journey through the company's games. Companies like Cabinet Mysteriis are a rare treat, a company that both reminded me of the joys of classic escape rooms and the modern wow moments of the current era, all delivered in with a signature touch of larger-than-life personality.

Our journey there was very immersive and fun. The staff is adding to the play with full time presence during the game. I highly recommend ! Be careful the set you select if you go with little kids, some of them are adult oriented and could scare them.

We did the screaming metal escape room and were so impressed! There were just two of us, and it was the perfect amount of challenge for experienced escape room goers. The physicality of the puzzles was so fun and the theme was really well executed. We would absolutely return and try another room! The staff was also incredibly friendly and their hints were really helpful. Highly recommend!
