I first started training here during Covid when I had very little experience with strength training. This is the gym that made me fall in love with lifting weights and where I really started seeing changes in my body. The coaches pushed me past my comfort zone and limits! I gained so much confidence, strength, and appreciation for what my body is capable of doing! This place truly shaped my fitness journey, and I'll always be grateful for it. Camp Xcel isn't just a regular gym, it's a family!!
I highly recommend this gym. Vanessa, is incredibly helpful and always there to motivate me. I felt comfortable and confident here, never judged by my size or appearance. The gym offers convenient hours in the morning and afternoon. Vanessa isn’t just a trainer; she makes you feel like a friend. She’s not there for your money; she’s there to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
I’ve meant to write this review a week ago after the Five Week Challenge ended. I didn’t loose any weight during this challenge but it wasn’t because of the gym. What I gained was strength in my body, better form, confidence in my self and that’s thanks to the coaches (Coach Héctor and Coach Jess) as well as Denise at the front desk. I’ve never felt more confident in a group setting , the coaches guide you and push you out of your comfort zone and you have fun while doing it. Coaches and the exercises push you beyond what you THINK you can do. I ended up signing up as a member because I see changes in my body and spirit thanks to the coaches. The price is worth it, feels like a mini personal training session.
This camp is amazing!! I have honestly never felt so motivated to work out until I tried the 10 day free trial. After that, I was hooked and signed up for the 6 month membership! Ive gone through multiple gym memberships, but was never consistent with going as much as I thought I would. With this camp, I feel more motivated to go to these sessions and you can tell the coaches put a lot of effort to make it a fun and comfortable environment. Levi, Jess, and Hector are all amazing and work with you so that you feel comfortable, no matter your fitness level. ] I am currently on the second month of my membership and I have already felt positive changes in my body, such as losing a few pounds. I have two goals before my graduation in May 2018; to lose weight and to tone up. Signing up for this camp was honestly one of the best decisions Ive ever made, and I have never enjoyed working out this much before! Thank you to the staff at Camp Xcel! I did not enjoy working out UNTIL I joined FitCampLA. Prior to joining I had a pass to the gym. I went to their exercise classes, used the equipment, and did not get the results I wanted. I felt discouraged to go and eventually ended up not going all together. I heard of FitCampLA through a friend, and after seeing her transformation I knew that they were doing something right. She looked AMAZING. I then made the decision to give it a go. It was the best decision I could have made for myself. Since joining in March of 2013, I have lost a total of 20 pounds and 4.5 inches in my waist! And the great results keep coming! The coaches are awesome and welcoming. Their positive attitudes are encouraging as well as infectious. They have different workouts ready for us each class, so there is never a dull moment. Thanks FitCampLA for helping me look and feel GREAT!
