We have absolutely loved our experience with training at Canine Karma. When we adopted our dog, he was so reactive and anxious that he could not go outside in our backyard, walk around the block, or be around strangers. As first-time dog parents, we had no clue what to do and we were so stressed trying to make him comfortable. After the Reactive Dog Protocol with Tina, it feels like we have an entirely different pup! He is calm, confident, and loves to meet new people. We can take him for longs walks & he is overall so much more at peace! We are even doing group classes with Canine Karma now! Tina is fabulous at meeting you where you are at, tailoring each session to the individual dog, and helping you build a lifelong bond with your dog. She has always made her space a positive, fun learning environment for us! ❤️

Wonderful experience at Canine Karma. We’ve taken many classes and have learned so much in each class. Not only is our dog smarter but we are too! They truly help you and your dog succeed. I would highly recommend their programs.

Best dog training in town. My pup and I had the best time in her classes. We have done STAR, Tricks class and start Build your Bond in April. Tina is fun and makes the class very engaging. My puppy has so much fun she wants to go home with Tina!

We LOVE Canine Karma! We had previously taken our dog to an AKC Star class in Monroe and to say it didn't go well would be an understatement. There were 12 dogs crammed into half a gym and it was way too over stimulating for our golden retriever puppy. There were puppies everywhere, people everywhere and when we asked for help with leash walking the instructor told us that our dog would never be a therapy dog so she didn't need to learn to walk on a leash. We were very discouraged and didnt know what to do, but thankfully a friend recommended Canine Karma. Canine Karma keeps class sizes small, utilizes only positive training methods, they explain the rationale behind everything that they teach and have given us back the hope that was stripped from us in that first class in Monroe. We got more from one class at Canine Karma than in 6 weeks at the Monroe class. In the first STAR Puppy class at Canine Karma we learned not only obedience skills such as sit, paws up, get on, get off, and touch but we also learned some fun games to keep our puppy engaged throughout the class and to help us regain her attention if we are in busy environments where she is more interested in other people or dogs than us. Canine Karma has exceeded our expectations and we are looking forward to continuing on with them in the Shorty Class and Building the Bond classes this summer. We are loving the positive relationship that we are developing with our dog through the skills taught at Canine Karma. Thank you!!

Four years ago, we adopted a shelter pup who was very nervous around other dogs. We shopped and tried a couple trainers and were frustrated. A friend at LC4 recommended us to Canine Karma. Tina worked wonders with our Maggie. She first provided solo instruction to build Maggie's confidence. She also trained us as the parents to be observant of our dog's queues. She then introduced a single dog and then multiple dogs into the training, while never rushing our pup. We were very pleased with the progress made by Maggie. More recently, we are volunteers at Friends of Lucas County Dogs and participate in the Rescue University program at Canine Karma. Volunteers bring dogs from the county shelter to CK for fun and good behavior training with Tina, Bryn, and Marina. The results have been fantastic as CK has helped many dogs better prepare for adoption. We highly recommend Canine Karma.
