I was driving on the highway and my car alerted me that there was an issue with coolant level and to stop driving. I pulled over and tried calling Volkswagen and AAA who were not helpful because it’s after hours and I am over 1 hour from home. I called Cara Auto and they came within 30 minutes to run a roadside diagnostic test and rectify the problem. Jerryl was amazing. He fixed the problem after doing thorough examination to ensure there were no leaks and he was both pleasant and professional. Would highly recommend!
Tried to get them to do swap brake pads and potentially rotors but they told me I needed to do a diagnosis. lol a diagnosis to confirm I needed the rotors. They called me and were pretty insistent about it. Got off the phone and they basically confirmed in order to avoid the diagnosis I’d have to take the wheel off myself and look at the rotor and tell them if they need to swap it. If you know exactly what you need; sure I guess the pricing wasn’t terrible considering they’ll come to you but they really expected me to take my wheel off, look at my rotor, and give them the OK to charge me more money. Like take the 2 seconds to look when you would’ve done the brake job; even if you had to buy the part it’s not like you couldn’t return it. Charge a $10 restocking fee or something if that’s an issue - don’t make me take a wheel off 🤣 For all that hassle I’ll just go to my regular mechanic come Monday.
We had a rental car break down on us and Steve went above and beyond to help get us on the road as soon as possible. He was knowledgeable, careful, kind, and fast ! This unfortunate situation was made a lot more bearable and less stressful with this man’s help. no notes.
The best in a pinch. Reliable and kind from the office to the field. Jarrel helped me out with my serpentine belt no problem double parked in a 1 lane 1 way made it look as easy as frying a egg. Plus we all know thats superman dads name.
