We attended the Spanish Kitchen paella class. Amazing. Terrific and fun instructors. Very hands on. Started by making an eggplant and bell pepper dip. Yummy! Then the paella Valenciana with chicken and duck. Delicious and what a blast. Finally we were served a flan de Naranjo and learned how to get the wonderful dessert out of those little white bowls correctly. Would absolutely do this again. A terrific 2.5 hours.
Just took the intensive croissant class. It was about 5 hours. We worked in groups of 4 and the croissants came out great. Lots of fun instruction.
I’ve taken a few cooking classes at this location and really love the concept, but my experiences have been a little mixed. In the most recent class—the French macaron workshop—you’re seated at a table with 4–5 people and work together as a group to make the macarons. While it was fun and social, I would have preferred a more hands-on experience. We also used food coloring in the macarons, which wasn’t my favorite, and the final product didn’t quite have the authentic taste I was hoping for. That said, it’s still a great spot to try if you’re looking for a unique activity and enjoy cooking with others.
Such a cute date night spot! Great instructor, food, and vibes. I’ve done a few of the hands on classes and also a demonstration one, and they’re all engaging and informative. It may seem like a lot since it’s about $100 a class, but I feel like because it’s an activity plus a meal- it’s worth it! This last class was the Lobster fest one and it was soooo good! We made lobster salad, grilled lobster, lobster soufflé, and lobster risotto! Crazy good and learned so much. Plus 2 glasses of wine are included- the important stuff obviously!
what an amazing experience! i surprised my partner with a cooking class at CM because he loves shopping there. the instructors were very kind and knowledgeable. we did the ‘night up in flames’ class and it was so fun to flambé our 4-course meal! everything tasted great. they were also very generous with the wine. i would definitely do another class!
