It's a family-friendly restaurant in Kitchener. We stopped by on our way back from the Stratford Shakespeare Festival. It’s not a fancy place, but the service is good and the value is solid. Signature Pig Tails We made a mistake with this appetizer - the braised pig tails were mostly fat and bone with almost no meat. Strawberry Gazpacho A chilled purée-style soup, absolutely perfect for a July afternoon. I'm not usually a soup fan, but I have to admit I really enjoyed this one. NY Striploin 14 oz An amazingly tender steak, cooked perfectly to medium-rare. We asked for no butter (“maître d’hôtel” butter with garlic and herbs), yet it was still absolutely fantastic. The grilled asparagus, root vegetables, and their garden salad (as a substitute for potatoes) paired beautifully with the steak. Filet Mignon 7 oz Even more tender than the striploin - exactly what you’d expect, though reality doesn’t always meet expectation. Here, it did. Both steaks were well above expectations. Dessert Platter Probably the best option to share, since you can sample different desserts. The mini crème brûlée was good, the cheesecake was fairly standard, and the peanut butter cake was a pleasant surprise. Conclusion: We really liked this place. While the menu doesn’t offer anything extravagant, their steaks and the strawberry gazpacho were well above average!

A lovely restaurant! Warm atmosphere and wonderful staff. Our waitress Stella was outstanding. The oysters were a nice appetizer! The double loaded baked potato is a must try! I'd recommend the Beef Wellington as well. A tasty pastry encasing a quality steak.

Went with a friend for her birthday Labour Day Monday and it wasn't busy. Service was great we both had the Riviera Bowl and it was delicious. We also both had mojitos very refreshing and to top it off I had the coconut creme brulee and my friend had the chocolate peanut butter cake, both delicious. Service was great. It was a Monday night, ambience and company great. We will be back!

Visited this place for our anniversary dinner last night and were seated right away. The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant looked busy. Food was definitely deserving to be a 5 star, we tried the beef wellington bites which were so good and we'd never tried something like that in the region before. The Tender Blue steak and Chicken Madeira were so nicely done and flavourful that we kept talking about it through our drive back also. The steak was so nicley made to my liking and it slided through the knife when cutting it, and the blue cheese was the perfect pairing to its richness. Finished off with a great sticky toffee pudding!

We came here for a short vacation dinner, and the place was packed on a Friday evening. The patio was warmly lit with fire features, creating a cozy atmosphere, so we happily took a seat. The menu is diverse, offering everything from steak to burgers to poke bowls. We ordered the seafood risotto and the steak Diane—both were excellent. The risotto came loaded with lobster, clams, and shrimp, perfectly seasoned. The steak Diane was cooked medium to perfection, with mushrooms as the highlight. We upgraded to a truffle fries which was awesome. Portions were just right for the two of us with smaller appetites. Service was friendly, and the vibe was perfect for a Labor Day disconnect before the busy season kicks in. A wonderful way to wave goodbye to a memorable and fruitful summer.
