I'm only giving it one star because I have no choice, would give it a zero if I could. I called and asked what's the estimate time for a state inspection. The guy who answered said, "30 minutes." So I went there and waited an hour to get the state inspection done. That was a lie and a waste of my time. Also, once the inspection was done, I asked if if passed. And all of a sudden this rude, mean guy who was sitting on the right on of me from the counter burst out saying, "oh, that's not the only thing with that car. The license doesn't match with the vehicle." I'm like, "what the hell?" I just told him I bought the car back in September and left it at that. I didn't want to go into the complicated process my car is going through and, I don't owe an explanation to him or anybody there. I just simply needed to get a vehicle emission inspection and be on my way. The customer service from the person who was handling the inspection was fine. He was courteous and accommodating. I believe he is a Hispanic man. But the guy on the right on the computer, an older white man with glasses, was a total, rude jerk. I think he could've been the manager. I will never ever go there again for state inspection or any other types of car services. Man, can y'all live up to your name? or just change the name to just automotive services. Please don't put "Christian" in front of it because y'all make Christians look bad.
Took my vehicle in December 3rd at about 9am I was told it’s going to take about 5 hours before my car get pulled back so Tyler suggested I come back at 7am on another day and my vehicle will be in and out pretty quick since I’ll be first, that’s not what happened at all. I took off work the next morning and let my children stay with me from school so I can make it there for 7am to be the first one. I told him everything that was wrong (my wheel shake when I’m going over 60 on the highway and I apply my breaks) I told him I’ll wait around since it won’t be that long. About 30 minutes later one of the mechanics come to me saying “yea we didn’t feel any shaking” I specifically said when I’m on the highway not in a neighborhood. It’s rush hour now so of course you wouldn’t be able to drive on the highway going 60+. 2 Hours pass by and no updates I walk up to the counter and ask Tyler is there an update on my vehicle he says “yes it’s your breaks I’ll call Tim soon as (another worker) get off the phone to get the approval” I took my children next door to get something to eat it’s now about 10am I get a call “we got the approval but it’s going to take a couple of hours to get the job done would you like a ride somewhere” I took the ride home. 2:19pm came I haven’t heard nothing so I called “yes he’s still working on it he’ll be done by 3pm” at 2:45pm they call and say it’s done. Went to pick it up. Instantly noticed how dirty the driver front and side of my vehicle was, got in straws and my child picture and a towel that was all neatly in my glove box laying on the floor. Drove my vehicle and it was doing the exact same thing I took it in for but with added issues. Now my driver head light mysteriously not working anymore, the maintenance required light is now on, and there’s a cloudy film that I cannot wipe off on my driver side mirror. Over $1,100 spent and a full day from work and school wasted and absolutely nothing was done but more issues and a mess to clean up. I’m very disappointed more harm than good was done. My vehicle was clean inside and out, no service lights were on, my headlights worked perfectly fine, and I could see out my side mirror great before I dropped my vehicle off here.
I recently provided a positive review of CB, in particular, Jason. Yes, he was very helpful. Pulled out of the CB lot right after I spent $1300 to replace the control arms on a 2015 auto and the check engine light came on signaling a bad catalytic converter. Since I was impressed with CB's Jason, I asked for a quote...$2500+. I almost accepted and a couple of weeks later on my way to their shop I decided to make a call to other shops to see if the $2500 was reasonable. Every exhaust shop contacted quoted a price between $1200 and $1500 using a Cateran system. I researched the Cateran brand and found that it is a quality replacement. Thank you CB for quoting me the $2500 replacement (not) for my daughter's 2015 auto and a genuine thanks to Miller Muffler on Preston Rd for a quick much less expensive replacement cost. I can see the response from CB now trashing the Cateran replacement justifying their added $1200 cost but it is a 2015 auto and based on my research the Cateran should be just fine...if not, I will apologize to CB. So until the Cateran goes belly up, thank you Miller Muffler!
I was their customer when in lived in Houston. ( I now live in Dallas ) On October 29th 2025 as I was driving on US 75 I heard a shattering noise in my car, after which I drove to this location and explained my problem. They immediately put it on a lift and told me that the protective shield under the car body was ripped off and fixed it in 10 mts and did not charge me in spite of me offering to do so. That is customer service I'll never forget
The experience was amazing even before I entered the door. The method to book an appointment on their website was easy. When I entered the shop, I was greeted by a polite gentleman. He took the time to understand my problem and hired an Uber to get me back. I previously visited another highly rated shop but they couldn't figure out the main fault. It only took one assessment with Christian Brothers to fix the problem. They ordered another Uber to pick me up (at no cost to me!) and I was good to go. My vehicle problem was completely gone! I am now a loyal customer!
