Ph il has been our go-to guy for all things computers for the past 20 years or so. He always is timely with his work, sticks to his estimates, and his price is always reasonable. He's a good man and we trust him.
Phil at Computer Nerdz was highly recommended to help diagnose my inoperable 12 yr old laptop & hopefully save my files on the hard drive! He did a fantastic job in a reasonable turnaround time & a very fair repair charge! I have all my files saved on a flash drive! He’s a really nice guy & easy to talk with. He’s also very knowledgeable & provided me a wealth of information that I wasn’t getting anywhere else. I now have time to compare options for a replacement! Check out Computer Nerdz for your technology & computer issues! I highly recommend Phil!!!
Phil is so nice, patient and has a quick turnaround. He replaced my hard drive in about 2 days even after saying how busy he was and kept me informed every step of the way. He was very nice and helpful. Would 10/10 recommend.
Best of the best. This is a shop that is not only run by a legitimate computer genius, but also a stand-up guy who goes above and beyond for his customers. Apple wanted 2K for some water damage my 2024 MacBook Pro M4 Pro suffered. Lol. Might as well just get a new MacBook! I then took it to the Iphone Repair Gods (whose reviews I would take with a large grain of salt). They charged $200+ for a cleaning that fixed nothing and then asked if I wanted a new screen for $800, not realizing that the screen wasn’t even broken—the backlight was just not working. While it did take some time, approx. a month to fix (as Phil’s first attempt at fixing the backlight didn’t hold up, but the second attempt resolved the issue). He picked my Macbook up from my place and would drop it off as well (as he knew I didn’t have a car and wanted to save me the Uber costs 🥹) The man actually repaired my Macbook Pro, he didn’t simply replace the entire motherboard for 2K. There are few people like Phil and his crew left in this world. All in all, I paid something like $250 to Phil and $200 for that ridiculous cleaning service from iPhone Repair Gods. Phil did ask for an additional $200 as one essential part had to be replaced and he ordered it from the US to speed the process up, I waited a little while prior to paying as I assumed it would fail again, but it’s been 3 months+ and it’s been working great! I msged him about paying the $200 ~a month ago, but he never got back to me. Not sure if he just decided he didn’t want to charge me for it (as there was a small issue with the ports being a little loose), or if he never got my message, but please text me back buddy if you want me to send those funds. Phil and team are hands down the best in ATX for electronic repairs. I have sent multiple people to his shop and they always come back satisfied. Thank You Phil! He is the antithesis of the “Disposable Everything” mentality.
Phil was great! I brought my PC in for a network issue and he had it fixed within the same week. The turnaround time felt a little slow to me, but it actually gave me peace of mind knowing they were busy and that people came back. Phil was honest, friendly, and took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly. The minimum service charge isn’t my favorite part, but I understand it—it’s standard across most places I checked, so I can’t hold it against them. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be returning.
