I had a great experience with this driving school and would highly recommend it to anyone learning how to drive. Jose was extremely helpful guiding me and encouraging me along the way. I eventually passed on my third road test so remember to never stop trying even if the road test examiners fail you. They are strict for a good reason and every attempt you learn something new even if you fail. I do recommend actually asking Jose whatever questions you have on your mind otherwise it would be hard for him asses what you need help with in improving your driving skills.

My instructor Otto was amazing at both making me comfortable and confident at the wheel, and explaining all details of the road test to prepare me for specific maneuvers and tasks that are tested by the DMV. Class scheduling was easy, with many spots available every week. The school’s management was extremely responsive, efficiently scheduling the test. Additionally, I should mention that the pickup spot (right around the w14th street A train station) for my classes was extremely convenient for those living on Manhattan, and learning to drive around that area was great for experiencing and getting used to driving conditions in NYC. I ended up passing the test from the first attempt, with all of my preparation coming from the Confident Driver driving school. I definitely recommend their services! Thank you!

I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn how to drive. You will not regret it. I’ve never driven before in my life and at 27, I finally received my driver’s license after taking lessons here. All the instructors are wonderful and you won’t be having any problems taking lessons with any of them. Otto, Omari, Jose and Morris are all great teachers. Otto and Morris in particular helped me the most and were incredibly patient and kind. Morris was very helpful with scheduling road test within days. Driving in New York is not easy and they definitely helped me feel more confident behind the wheel. I am looking to have more lessons on the highways with them after receiving my license.

I’ve had a fantastic experience with this driving school. I’ve taken lessons primarily with Otto, who is the greatest instructor I could’ve hoped for. I also enjoyed my lessons with Omari. The instructors are incredibly patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and calm. They’re also wonderful people and I really look forward to spending time with them every week. With their support, I was able to pass my road test seamlessly on the first try. Morris was very helpful with scheduling my road test within days. I feel confident as a driver in one of the most difficult cities to drive in, and I’m continuing to take highway lessons with them even after receiving my license. I would wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone looking to learn or refresh their driving skills.
