Perry changed my life! I was scared of driving for my entire adulthood and Perry took me from no driving experience to being able to navigate NYC traffic with ease. He was super patient, funny, and truly caring. I'm so grateful to finally have my license and the skills to drive safely anywhere! Would highly recommend Grand Prix and Perry who goes above and beyond to teach safe driving skills and has so many tips and tricks about defensive driving and parking, especially in a crowded city environment.
Their service is straightforward- first time getting a drivers license here in NY it was stressful to find out the process, I had no idea where to start what to do, I have no car, I know no rules. Their service package, online mandatory course, driving lessons to Road test was seamless and it took off the unnecessary stress for me and I was able to focus on learning driving, and road test. I passed with flying color, one shot. I don’t know where to start with Perry - he’s one of a kind special person I got along well and he made me feel relaxed and confident. I can see some people might find him peculiar lol 😆 he’s not a typical instructor for sure but just trust the process 🤗 My kids will be ready for driving in a few years and I’ll definitely use this school, the staff is warm and caring. The come to your place for driving lesson. They encourage you, Idk if the school is expensive or not, maybe so because of the level of services they provide and the location (upper east side) but for me I’d say it worth a every penny, It saved me from researching, stressful process, figuring out practice vehicle and time, and to and from Road Test. I see reviews are mixed opinions, if your goal is to pass, get a license just go with this school. I’m happy, thank you so much! ☺️ Oh this is Asako 🤭
I took classes with Perry, he taught me everything I needed to know in less 4 classes. Just passed my drivers test, first try. Wonderful school very worth it, you should get lessons from Perry.
I took driving lessons with Augusto, who was absolutely amazing. He is a true professional and an expert driver, and a great teacher. I cannot recommend him highly enough. With his instruction, I easily passed my road test. I would recommend him for anyone looking to pass their road test. I would also recommend him for experienced drivers looking to learn more advanced defensive driving techniques. There is no better driving instructor than Augusto!
I am using a burner email to keep anonymity. This business is downright awful. First off, they don’t teach you how to drive well. They don’t prepare you for the road test or teach effective methods. The office is rude and unresponsive. They forgot about one of my lessons one time and were 20 minutes late another. They were just overall extremely unprofessional. Dorian is a great instructor but Noel shouldn’t be an instructor. Noel would ask unobvious questions that as a beginner driver I didn’t know the answer to and then proceed to get extremely angry when the answers were wrong. He constantly grabbed the wheel in the middle of me driving, would make me stop the car for 20 minutes of the lesson to tell me about god knows what and would typically end 10 minutes early with an empty promise of making up lost time (he never did). An incredibly rude guy who not only left me unprepared for my road test (which I failed) but would get get offended if I ever asked him to repeat himself. The school didn’t send the same instructor and would only send who was available leading for further communication. I don’t recommend anyone to use this business. EDIT - the fact that the business responds to every bad review is even worse of a look for them. Continue to not use this business. Save your money.
