This second hand bookshop is a place of quiet warmth as much as books. It is welcoming, thoughtful and run with care for people and ideas. What I value most is the atmosphere. Conversations are handled with generosity and respect, and there is a sense of calm in a world that often feels hurried and reactive. Steadiness matters. I return for the books, but also because this is a place grounded in empathy and curiosity.

One week after 15 Australians were murdered on Bondi Beach for the crime being Jewish this guy is unashamedly advertising pro Palestinian propaganda on his noticeboard without a word of suffering of other oppressed peoples around the world. And when this was pointed out to him he starts referring to events that occurred in British Mandate Palestine 80 years ago. What is your problem??

Gorgeous shop, I could have spent hours in there with amount of books and different genres. I was so excited I found a 50th anniversary addition of Dune by Frank Herbert in pretty close to new condition. The shop owner was lovely and the prices unbeatable. Can't wait to go back. Must be popular with the locals as I thought going late afternoon I'd have plenty of time to browse, however it was busy which is always an awesome sign.
