Reactivity Training
Specialized sessions for dogs with aggression or anxiety issues, using positive techniques to reduce reactivity to strangers, other dogs, or stimuli.
In-Home Training
Personalized one-on-one sessions at your home to address specific concerns and teach commands in your dog's familiar environment.
Obedience Training
Basic to advanced obedience lessons, including heel, sit, stay, and crate training, to improve manners and communication.
Progress Updates and Support
Regular photo/video updates during board and train, plus post-training guidance to help owners maintain skills at home.

Wanted to give two thumbs up to Cornerstone K9! Winston and Ellie came home Tuesday, and we are so excited! They have made great improvements over the past few weeks thanks to James. He is an awesome trainer! Loved our pups like his own, kept us informed, posted pics and videos along the way, and helped the entire family learn ways we can continue to work with our dogs at home. We are already planning to have them both go back to James while we are on spring break! If you are thinking about board and train, reach out to Cornerstone K9 and ask for James! So happy we did!

Cornerstone K9 and Sandy were truly amazing. Pinto wasn’t just trained — he became part of the family. He was loved, spoiled, played with, taken on adventures, bike rides, snuggled, and showered with toys, treats, and care, all while receiving excellent training and detailed progress reports. Knowing my dog was happy and treated like family meant everything to me. I trust them completely. My other dog will 100% go there as well, and if I ever need boarding, this is the only place I would consider. Forever grateful — highly, highly recommend. ❤️🐾

My trainer was very attentive to Bella's needs as well as my concerns. Bella's behavior is so much better. I highly recommend Sandy for any issues you may have regarding your dogs behavior. I will continue her training in order to have a well mannered, obedient dog who listens to and follows all my commands. Can't thank my trainer enough.

After some extensive online research, I have decided to go with Cornerstone K9 team to help me train one of my pups. I was then contact by Martin, who is specialized in training reactive dogs. He came out to my home to meet my dog. He took time to get to know her and to see which type of training would be best suited for our situation. We settled on a 4 week board and reactivity training. Throughout the 4 week training Martin was sending updates with pictures and videos. He stayed in constant contact to make sure I follow his training progress every step of the way. After the completion of the training program, Martin brought my pup back and took hours from his schedule to properly reintroduce her into the home, show all the commands, explain in detail how to handle my pup and how to continue with the training at home. I can’t believe how easy our walks are, now that I can walk my pup and not her dragging me through the streets of Raleigh, all while barking at and trying to chase every dog, bunny and squirrel. Thank you, Martin for marking our lives easier and our walks so much more enjoyable! Best training by far!

We came across Cornerstone K9 after a rough couple of months with our youngest pup Harper, a 3 year-old, 65lb nervous nelly whose stubbornness made her impossible to train. Her reactivity began to progress, especially around strangers and even her housemates, and we were absolutely heartbroken that our previous attempts to help her with other trainers hadn’t helped at all. After talking with Gina, she paired us up with Kaleigh who had a knack for the dogs that struggled with confidence. As soon as Kaleigh came to our home, she knew that Harper needed help and suggested a 6 week board and train program. I’ll admit, being away from my girl for 6 weeks was hard, but it was so necessary for her to be outside of her comfort zone and work on her trust and confidence. After 6 weeks, Harper came back, and I honestly can’t believe how much she’s changed. The dog who crawled on top of everyone on the couch now sits in her “place” in her bed until invited up. The dog who sniffed every tree and cowered from cars on walks now walks side by side me in a heel, with no pinch collar or pulling needed. The dog that went absolutely ballistic when her kennel door was shut (yes - every single time for 3 years) now happily goes into her crate and waits for her treat. There are so many more things I could say that have changed but I’ll keep this review short (too late?). All in all, I am blown away at how Kaleigh was able to work with Harper to get where she is today. More importantly, I feel like I have the tools I need to work with Harper through her confidence and keep up on her training. Our house hasn’t been this peaceful with our pack in 3 years - so thank you Cornerstone K9 and Kaleigh!!! ❤️
