Good job boarding, but business is old school. No notice on property that they would close early on new years eve. I was back in town at 5pm, but they closed at 4pm. So had to wait 36 hours. Picked up early on jan 2. They charged for a full day on jan 2. So cost an extra $60. Plus they pass along the cost of credit cards on top of their prices so it's not really cheaper than the more expensive places. Just paid cash
We really appreciated the attention to detail that these folks exhibited. We had our dog there for about 10 days and he loved the big play areas they reported
I kenneled our year old Lab mix there a whole week with the morning half day outside play option while on vacation in April 2025. I had checked around, and found they had the best prices. When I took him back in June for a weekend, he was very happy and excited to be back there. The staff was great with him as he is a handful when hyped up. He enjoys the people and playing with other pups. I like that they have inside air-conditioned kennels for really hot weather, big outdoor kennels with large fans, and outdoor play areas with pools.
Miss Diva Piper Rose will accept nothing but the finest. We were very scared in 2021 as it was our first time boarding our baby anywhere. But we knew she could not be left home while we are on vacation. I drove the staff bonkers with phone calls every day that year and they were so kind and understanding and placed me on hold to go see what she was doing. Piper was scared the first time. In 2021 Piper did pick up a respiratory infection during her time there but nothing a little medicine couldn't fix. I called them and let them know about it and they were very nice about it. September 2021 Piper had another short stay with no problems at all. But in 2022 and 2023 she RAN to the door! Tail wagging a mile a second. She loves the older man that works there particularly. I believe they have a special relationship. Country Acres has become Pipers summer camp every year while we are on vacation. And her short fall camp every September. They have been wonderful and their rates are very fair. Country Acres has given us no reason to believe they mistreat or neglect the animals. The fact alone that Piper Rose gets crazy excited when we drop her off and she RUNS to the back to see all her friends and counselors tells me all I need to know about this facility. Piper looks forward to her upcoming summer camp and fall camp in 2024. I understand the frustration of some on here about their fur babies. But bashing, slandering, and damaging a small, family run business that we all should be supporting is not appropriate. For us, since 2021 we have been more than pleased. And we are very protective of our Cocker Spaniel. It is your responsibility to make sure your dog or cat is in good health, is emotionally stable, and boarding ready. You can not blame these nice people because you did not take care of your responsibilities. These are just the facts. This facility is Piper Rose Approved 🐾
This place was horrible! I left my rott there for 8 days. I’m very disappointed, I picked up my rott with his head busted and cuts on his nose. Also on his neck and right eye lid. The day i dropped Him off he was in very good shape. He has lost a lot of weight in those 8 days.He has bites on his ears and a bad cough. He is also bleeding from his private area I told them before i left that he has bad anxiety if he could stay in the inside kennels. They said that he was too big and he would be better off outside. Right when we got there he got his vaccines he needed WHICH DIDNT START WORKING UNTIL ALMOST 2 WEEKS LATER when we took him to the vet the first time. I had very high hopes for this place but didn’t turn out so good. Will be taking him to the vet again to get this checked. (They said they will refund us after we spent over $1,000 at the vet trying to get my dog to recover from the mess they did. It is now almost December this happened in June. So unprofessional I’m not giving up until we get refunded for what they did to him.)
