I went on a cruise with AML to Baie Ste Catherine & it was great. To start both Patricia & Paul were so prefessional, friendly, welcoming, they were simply amazing. During the cruise, we were able to spot the backs of some rorqual whales, a lot of belugas & some seals as well. Don't expect to see the giant whales while they jump off the water because it won't happen. I loved the experience because I was able to see some whales in their natural habitat.

Booked the whale watching bus and zodiac tour during our visit to Quebec City. Everything about it was amazing and worth the value. Our tour guide and bus driver were amazing on the 3+ hour ride to Bay St. Catherine. The captain and guide on the boat were knowledgeable and so friendly. We saw many whales and some seals. The scenery alone was breathtaking. Being on the zodiac boat allowed us to get pretty close to things. A few things I wish I knew ahead is time: 1. It is advertised as going to Charlevoix, but it was quite a distance past that. 2. You can leave your bags and things on the bus. When I asked (ahead of time), the person was unsure so I packed very lightly because you can’t bring anything on the zodiac boat. This also meant that you could pick up some things during the short stop in Charlevoix. 3. The lunch bag option was great to purchase, but perhaps at a little higher price point than it should have been. But it was convenient. With that said, you can also pack snacks and a lunch (which you could leave on the bus while you’re on the boat). 4. We did get a little wet and it definitely got chilly at some points out on the open water. Overall I would highly recommend!

The boat was comfortable and the staff were friendly” or “The scenery along the way was beautiful.” seeing whales isn’t guaranteed: “It was difficult to spot whales during our trip, and we only caught a brief glimpse from far away.”

We had a wonderful cruise experience with AML during our first family trip to Quebec. Due to rainy weather we reached few minutes before the cruise departure but the staff was very accommodating. They quickly provided our tickets and arranged for parking slot. It was a great sight seeing experience. Totally worth the money.

This is a quality trip that provides in 90 minutes a different perspective on Quebec City. It was a clear fall day with great views of the city and surrounding foliage. Those providing negative reviews need to keep in mind it is a boat trip up and down the river with a clear narration to what you are seeing. Remember it is a boat and so if you have a walker it could be difficult to board. The crew was fantastic helping older passengers to the shore down the gangplank. David, the narrator provided well thought out descriptions of the sights and a historical perspective to give context to what we were seeing. His voice was clear and definitely bilingual. In fact he didn’t try to be funny and trite but rather clearly told us about the unique aspects of what we were seeing. Clean washrooms and indoor seating was available. My wife and I would definitely recommend this cruise. In the summer this cruise would be busy but in the fall there was plenty of available seats with many passengers. Thank you for a great experience! We will be back when we swing by this way again!
