Dark Horse is easily the best CPA firm we’ve ever worked with. No exaggeration. They’re proactive in a way I’m honestly not used to with accountants. They bring ideas to us before we even know we need them, keep us ahead of tax stuff, and make the whole process feel way less stressful. On top of that, they’re just good people. Friendly, sharp, responsive, and they actually talk to you like a normal human instead of burying you in accounting jargon. It feels like they’re actually invested in our business instead of just filing forms and moving on. If you want a CPA team that’s on the ball, sees around corners, and genuinely makes your life easier, Dark Horse is the move. Total game-changer for us.

Teddy and his team are amazing! They made the process so easy and probably saved us thousands of dollars in the long run! We really appreciate how communicative they are and will continue to use them for years to come! 10/10!

Darkhorse in Middletown, KY is an exceptional agency from top to bottom, and Jennifer Cook is one of their brightest stars. Jennifer goes above and beyond to make sure her clients feel supported and truly understand their taxes, no matter how complicated things get. She’s knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly easy to work with. You can truly feel the difference with Darkhorse. They aren’t like most CPA firms that simply file your taxes and send you on your way. Darkhorse focuses on real tax planning—helping you understand your options, stay ahead of potential issues, and make smart decisions all year long. The entire team is professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about the people they serve. Everyone is friendly, organized, and committed to doing things the right way. Working with them has been an absolute relief. I couldn’t recommend Jennifer or the whole Darkhorse agency more highly.
