H PAYNE!!! H has been one of the best changes to my life this year. I’ve always had hair stylist friends, and it’s always been pulling teeth getting them to listen to me about what I want. H has been incredibly consistent with quality. I get compliments all the time. I feel like my hair just fits my head better than it ever has. H is also just an incredibly comfortable person to be around? Kind soul. All my friends are switching to their service. 1000% recommend!
Had H as my barber. They were amazing. The vibes of Dax Lee in general is really chill and feels like where all the neighbors come to. But H was great with my hair and asked me questions along the way. Would recommend again!
I’ve been searching for someone who truly understands how to work with my hair, and John absolutely exceeded my expectations. My hair can be difficult and I’m a very detail-oriented client, yet he handled everything with confidence, attention, and artistry. The results are always sharp and natural-looking. A true professional. I’ll be coming back regularly.
Deeply disappointed by my experience here. I had a family emergency and needed to reschedule my appointment. I called ahead and was assured I’d receive a refund. However, the refund never came, and when I showed up for the rescheduled appointment, I explained that I’d already been charged and didn’t see why I should pay twice after being promised a refund as a new customer. Instead of resolving the issue, I was stood up for my appointment and later banned from the shop without explanation. The lack of communication and misalignment within their team turned a simple misunderstanding into a truly upsetting experience. I approached this situation respectfully and in good faith, but there was no accountability or effort to make things right. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend a business that handles customers this way. I in good faith referred 4 friends to this shop, unfortunately we will all be taking our consistent business elsewhere
Really solid barber! Ive been to Dax Lee's a few times over the years (both at the Part Deaux location by Arthur Mac's and the Webster location) and have consistently been happy. Ive been to Erin a few times who is awesome, but I went to Sam yesterday and got a great cut in just a few minutes. Super stoked on this place and am excited to come back
