I recently had an emergency situation and was in desperate need of finding my adult son as quickly as possible. He was unmedicated and lost in the streets of San Francisco. Time was of the essence because without his medication he gets confused and lost and his well being was in danger. I called Jason and left a message. It was kinda late at night but he returned my call within the hour. He quickly told me what I needed to do and the next morning he was working on my case. I don't typically do reviews on line. Choosing a private detective is a difficult thing to do. When our daughter went missing we were desperate to do anything but wait. The police were doing everything they could but it just wasnt fast enough. I did plenty of research on how to hire the right detective. There was plenty to watch out for. Lets face it, when hiring anyone, you just don't know until it's too late in some cases. Our Daghter was missing for 4 days when we decided to call Jason Dewitt. He knows the Bay area very well and his references and background checked out! There are a ton of wannabe detectives in the world, with no real experience. We learned that the most important aspect to any detective you higher is, their ability to work with your local law enforcement. Jason is one of the very few who are respected by police and actually helped Jason help us. The police department and the Local detectives assigned to our case all respected Jason and assured me we hired a legitimate detective. Hiring Jason was the best thing we did to find our Daughter. She was missing for a total of 7 days when Jason found her. Jason did everything he said he would and more! He kept in touch several times a day and responded to our calls and text immediately. A child missing is a horrifying experience for any parent. Jason kept us encouraged and informed. He was able to provide us with information the police couldn't. He found our daughter safe and unharmed. We were told by the police that many times if a missing girl isn't found the first week, it is never a happy ending. Jason was easily worth twice the fees he charged to bring our daughter home safely. If you ever need a detective for any reason. Jason Dewitt is the real deal! His experience is why this was a succes story. His compation for us and our family was real. We will forever be greatful and fortunate to have found Jason when we did. I cant thank him enough for our experience. The daily progress and interaction was the key to us keeping our sanity through the hardest time of our lives.
