I highly recommend the 2 week board and train. My friend’s dog went through the training and after seeing the results and hearing about the program, I knew it would be a great fit for my dog. Scott really takes the time to listen about the things you would like your dog to improve on and he explains his methods thoroughly. We got consistent updates throughout the course of the training, but Scott is also very reachable if you need to get in contact. When Scott brought my dog home from training, he gave us an in depth lesson of everything he taught him and helped us learn the training tactics. He has also been following up with me to see how progress is going since my dog returned home which has been great. When my dog returned home, I could tell he was well taken care of and loved while away. My dog was still the happy boy he always is, but now he is way better behaved! I truly think his methods work and although 2 weeks does not guarantee perfection, my dog’s behavior has improved immensely for the better. The fact that he offers follow up lessons and group lessons post board and train is awesome too. He is a great guy that really cares about dogs and I know he will be a resource for life. If your dog needs training, this is the place to go!

We used Dogs by Dancer to train our poodle. The training went very well and we would recommend Dogs by Dancer if you are looking to a trainer. Scott Dancer is the trainer and he is professional and good.

Scott is great to work with and has helped my dog so much! My dog did a 2 week board and train when we lived in Florida but I didn’t get the results I wanted. When I moved to Virginia, I reached out to Scott to help with my dogs leash reactivity and he was able to meet up with me and my dog shortly after to come up with a plan. I noticed results even after the first lesson! 10/10 would recommend training with Scott!

Scott was so great to work with! I enrolled my 1 year old pup in his 2 week board and train program. In so little time Scott was able to help my dog with his impulse control and off leash recall. In addition to his training, he offers lifetime group classes for all his graduates which has been super helpful and enjoyable for Jax!

We used Dogs by Dancer (Scott) for board and train for my rescue. We saw an immediate impact afterwards. This was the best decision we've made to help our dog with his leash reactivity. We attend the Saturday group classes on occasion to keep up with training for continued socialization and my dog loves it! He also loves when he gets to do boarding and comes home tired from all the play time. Scott is the best out there!! I'll also note after doing a ton of research, he was priced very competitively with other providers but we went with Scott after hearing his approach.
