I took my young daughter to Danforth Karate Academy earlier this year to try it out and she has been a regular ever since. She is in the Pee Wee program and absolutely loves it. Sensei Chris is a great teacher, makes every class fun and is also very patient with the students. Also very reasonably priced, would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a fun and educational experience

Our son Noah attends religiously to Chris’ classes. He’s 7 yrs old and had learned so much within 6 months of joining. Chris lessons teach kids discipline, focus and self defence. Danforth Karate Academy is highly recommended and is situated right in downtown core. Let you kid tryout and see for yourself.

A really great place for kids, especially if it is first time. Kids feel welcome, safe and to be honest it is quite a fun for them. Sensei Chris is amazing. My daughter loves him and would really love to take even 7 classes a week…

I was so happy when a friend recommended a new Karate Academy that opened up a few months ago downtown, I signed up my two young kids, and my partner and I for a free trial. We ended up signing up right away! Sensei Chris, and the community are absolutely amazing. I feel honored to be a part of something so wonderful. As soon as you walk in, you'll notice that you are welcomed with open arms, and the facility is beautiful. Most importantly, I cannot say enough about Sensei Chris. He is an amazing teacher, with a kind heart, who really is amazing at what he does. I highly recommend Danforth Karate Academy Downtown!

I stumbled upon Danforth Karate Academy just under a year ago and it has changed my life immensely. I've had the pleasure of being trained by Sensei Chris for 8 months now. With his guidance, I was able to reach heights I didn't know I was capable of. His approach to instructing is fun for all ages and he challenges you to step outside your comfort zone 😁 You have to come try a class to see for yourself!
