Hi all, I have been a member of muse movement since early 2023 and I wanted to share my experience as I continue going there 8x a month. When I started going to Muse, I was fairly new to Pilates. Actually, I have not ever been on a reformer by then but the class I took with Zainab, an instructor who is not there anymore made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I was committed for good 5 months and wanted to look around for more affordable and closer studios that works better for my finances and schedule. Im total excluding muse I have tried 8 other Pilates studios and disliked all of them for fairly similar reasons. I have not felt included by studios regulars or even the instructors, nothing was intentional but it just wouldn’t work for me. It’s completely different at the Muse, it feels really nice to see class full of people from different backgrounds, ages and body type. Everyone is definitely welcomed and cherished. Also I do enjoy Jennifer, Caitlyn and Eleanor’s classes the most.

I went here a few times and took classes with Zainab and Lindsay and both of them were amazing. Can’t not say enough nice things about their classes. However, my last class with Alwynn made me feel not welcomed. The workout itself is good. I’m very new to Pilates and she corrected my form which I appreciate. But the tone she had when correcting my form was pretty rude and made me really uncomfortable. I felt bad about not knowing how to do certain things even though I’m a beginner. That happened multiple times during the class, so def kind of taken aback. Be aware if you’re taking her classes.

I’ve been to quite a few Pilates studios around the city but this is one of my favourites. All of the instructors are great and I find the classes a balance of challenging yet restorative. Also great music every class!
