Our server was Mariana and omg she was so nice 😭 I love her almost as much as I love the food. Absolutely delicious every time I had the birria ramen and omg the broth???? Heavenly especially after adding some crushed tortilla chips

We ordered the Pico de Gallo as an appetizer and 2 Taco entrees, Birria and Al Pastor. The home made tortillas were great but the Pico de Gallo was just chopped up veggies without any seasoning or lime. The Birria Tacos were pretty good but I liked the flavor of the Al Pastor more as it was more seasoned and flavorful. Both meats were a little dry and the pineapples in the Al Pastor weren't that great. The Mexican Coke was not that carbonated and I would prefer regular Coke aftee trying it. Overall ok and worth trying.

If you are ever in the Hamilton downtown area, you cannot skip out without trying this place. Prices are right, food is fresh and truly delicious. We ordered fajitas, steak tacos and their Michelada. Best michelada I've had here so far. I want to go back already lol. Service is fantastic. Went on a Monday night and was surprised how busy it was all evening. I definitely recommend.

BEST tacos and margaritas! We tried the famous Birria tacos and Chorizo tacos….SO yummy! We sat outside and enjoyed our food on their summer patio! Our server was Alejandra, she was helpful with the menu, efficient with her skills and such a pleasure to deal with! This is our new favourite place for tacos and margaritas! Bonus for me was that they had Latin music playing and that added to the authenticity of the place! I was enjoying it so much I only took a picture of my margarita haha! We will be returning!

IF I COULD GIVE this place 10 stars I would. The food is amazing and so authentic. The flavours are mouth watering. These are the best tacos I’ve ever had, my personal favourite were the cochinita pibil and the birria. The corn cup appetizer is so good and well worth the price, it made me so full lol! The drinks, the enchiladas, THE TACOS, the deserts..everything was 10/10. The service was exceptional even though it was so busy. We were treated like royalty. The place was clean and smelled sooooo good and the bathrooms were very clean which is rare for Hamilton. I was shocked to see people leaving bad reviews, but then I found out that the owner is under public attack by another Mexican restaurant in Streetsville, ALL of the bad reviews are paid or fake. DO NOT BE FOOLED! EL GRITO IS THE BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IVE EVER BEEN TOO, YOU WONT BE DISSATISFIED! We are hiring them for our wedding next year!!!
