Great value for the gym. The membership is way cheaper than other gyms in the area and the gym is high quality. The free and easy parking garage is greatly appreciated. My only wish is that they had a small, isolated seating area for people who are working remotely or just want to sit and take a break after their workout. Oh, and a digital scale!

I’m very impressed with ECA Wallingford. The equipment is new, and the gym is perfectly sized, not too cramped and not so massive that you get lost inside. The atmosphere is lively and cheerful, plus there’s FREE convenient parking. The basic membership is very affordable, though it doesn’t include classes. I highly recommend upgrading for the classes because the coaches are detail-oriented, motivating, and clearly running on high caffeine, especially Kris.

Been with ECA on Stone Way for about 2 months now. A decent gym. What stands out is its great location and decent price. However, the gym is quite small. I have not been able to use one of the two squat rack/platforms yet. At bigger gyms I’ve had no issues even during normal peak hours. They do have plenty of machines and benches to do split squats, dumbbell presses, or whatever else you might want a bench for. If you ignore the one time joining fee, the monthly fee smooths out to about $40. This is a decent deal for the location I agree with what many people have already said in other reviews: the sales people are very pushy and the vibe when joining is super weird when it should be very simple. I didn’t really care. It’s easy to get to since I live on Stone Way and I needed access to some machines. I just worry that if someone new to fitness joins that they may be sold things they don’t need. Also note that they need your bank account routing and account numbers. If you don’t want to share that then stay away. You will also need to cancel your membership through physical mail or by going in person TWO months or more before you actually want payments to stop.

Had an awesome experience at ECA Gym today. The staff was super attentive and actually listened to what I needed. Holly, my trainer, was incredible — instead of pushing a regular workout, she put together a personalized stretch session exactly the way I asked, and honestly exactly what my body needed. Professional, friendly, and really on point. Highly recommend this place if you want trainers who actually pay attention. 🙌

I’ve really enjoyed my experience at ECA in Wallingford. For the same price as one of the budget gyms (i.e. 24 hour fitness) you get a much nicer facility. I also love the one on one coaching you get access to. Mitchell helped set me up and I felt very well taken care of! Excited to be able to go to a gym much closer to where I live :)
