Frankly I’d Rank this Gym a 5-star Gym, but here’s the this that really is there in my mind, that it’s closing. So what my couch, Evan does to us, yes it’s very fun but challenging, so if he makes a basket in basketball we have to do 50 or 100 punches. That’s My Essay. Good Experience, Good Gym, Good Place. Nice people too. Sad it’s closing soon. 4-Stars - from an 8 year old
From all my experiences training in other countries this place has to be the best one, where you can join a great community where you're not only going to learn how to box more than just properly, also you will make great friends and family I would say. Thanks for all ECBG, and thanks to Russell and all his team for the effort that they put day by day on this place.
This gym is complete amateur hour. Went to the gym on the weekend and took a couple classes here and there. 1. The owner of the gym most def went up in the upper area smoked some weed, made the whole gym smell like weed and came down. Be professional. 2. Each class starts 10-20 minutes if it’s coached by the owner. Essentially stealing 15% of your money each class. 3. Pads have clearly not been cleaned in forever and smell terrible + the water fountain is busted. Running a small business can be hard I get that, but a child could have better diligence. The uw students who work there and front desk employees are nice though.
The Emerald City Boxing Gym is very near and dear to my heart. The staff and coaches that work there are incredibly kind and skilled, very easy to work with especially as a beginner. I’d highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance and are nearby in the area!
I’ve been at this gym for about 2-3 months now and it’s always a rewarding experience. Great workouts for all levels of fitness, kind staff, and lots of availability. The people here are always friendly and the owner makes everyone feel like family. I recommend this place to everyone I know!
