Family Kicks Championship Martial Arts

Family Kicks has been amazing for my son! He has shown great improvement in not only martial arts but discipline, respect, and other life skills. He has been here for a year now and has loved every moment. He loves his instructors and friends. Each and every instructor is fantastic here. They each have their own unique way of teaching and they are loved by all. Master Vaughn, Mr. Stiltner, and Miss Olivia have had the greatest impact on my son. They truly take their time and help everyone to succeed!

We are so grateful for Family Kicks! We have been attending for a little over two years now, and we started when our daughter was almost six years old. At the time, she was struggling with respect and not listening when we told her to do things. She quickly Learned what respect was by seeing it modeled by the awesome instructors, especially Mr. Stiltner! She has also become more confident in using her voice, she’s learning healthy boundaries for herself and others, not to mention of course learning how to defend herself physically (but of course, only if it comes to that)! All of the instructors are stellar, the layout for the entire dojo is centered around hospitality with coffee and tea options to enjoy while the kids train. We also enjoy how they encourage all the families to get to know one another with events like movie nights, parents night out events, holiday events for holidays, and in-house tournaments. We highly recommend Family Kicks!

Sometimes in life you're blessed enough to find "your people". People from all walks of life that share the same values, a belief in challenging yourself to be better. A belief in the value of our children and creating safe spaces for them to succeed and even to fail, knowing that they need to hear the truth and then they may need support to get back up and try again. A belief that learning is a lifetime skill that builds confidence and relationships. A belief that improving physical fitness is both good for the body and the mind - and an understanding that we all have to start somewhere and progress is individual. Family Kicks has provided that community for my family - and they've done that with great leadership from the owners AND with a great staff that has years of experience in a variety of disciplines. And they have proved not only great in the art but great and trustworthy with my kids as well. Our family trains together - We have always worked to be a strong and tight knit family, but this experience of learning together has been great. And some of our adult friends who train without children love the workout and the comradery. It's the people who make the difference. Our lead instructors Master Vaughn and Mr. Stiltner do a great job of reviewing and revising our curriculum and designing fun and challenging combinations that flow together well. Mr. Benitez is excellent at coming around and pointing out mechanics to help achieve and/or personalize techniques - he's probably my husband's most favorite person to spar - because while he has no hope of winning, he learns so much every time. And then there is Ms. Olivia who stole our heart when our youngest started in the Little Kicks program. She's a great martial artist and has a real passion for the kids - you can tell she genuinely loves both kids and martial arts. Then there is Master Holly who always knows when to come out on the floor to encourage, compliment, challenge or hold a class accountable. His delivery comes from both from the life experience of knowing how valuable these skills can be and sincere care for all of his students and their safety both on the mats and outside the dojang. We're a blessed family to have this opportunity and we'd love to see our Family Kicks family continue to grow - if you're thinking about trying out martial arts you won't find a more welcoming place with people who truly care.

My son started here about 4 months ago. We were looking for something that would make him feel more confident and more focused. They have such a phenomenal program and the instructors are absolutely amazing!! We tried a different place last year and it was not a good experience to say the least. Honestly, I kind of assumed he’d feel the same way about this place and not want to continue after the first month. I couldn’t have been more wrong. They have so many class times to offer so you’re not stuck trying to make a certain day every week work. This kid of mine is absolutely loving it here, he’s more focused, more confident, and even more respectful. The instructors here truly want to see success. I’m so beyond grateful!!

My son has just started attending Family Kicks and is hooked. The staff and teachers are excellent and treat the kids with respect and kindness. The classes help the kids progress quickly through their belts and skills. They also have opportunities for 🎂🎈 birthday parties and self defense classes. They also have ♿ handicap accessible parking 🅿️, 🚻 restrooms, and seating.
