glaring food hygeine and safety issues. girl who served me was wearing an oodie, literal pyjamas while serving food and my cookie was covered in small but noticeable hairs. not head hairs but those fine, clear fibres. overall hugely disappointed because the food is actually delicious however big changes need to be made with the “lax” attitude around food hygeine practices.

Always looks grim and closed from the outside, with windows always shuttered. The interior is very utilitarian and dusty. But don't let that deter you! One of the BEST bakeries in Edinburgh. Best apple turnover with cream you will have in your life!

Visited whilst visiting family in the area over a year ago. Now when they visit they have to bring me a care package down to Leeds. The pies are just next level. Packed with meat and just the best. The rolls as well just banging. Chicken and Haggis and the steaks pies particular highlight. Open a Leeds branch please I need you in my life more.

I love this bakery! Bread and rolls, savouries and cakes, all highly recommended. My personal favourites are the seeded rolls, steak pies, French bread pizzas, vanilla slices, and the GORGEOUS apple and cream turnovers 😋 Be warned: the turnovers sell out quickly, so get there early!
