I really enjoy training with my personal trainer at this gym. It also seems like a fun and safe environment. 10 out of 10. Plus it’s 20 minutes walk from my place. 🤩😎✌️🥳

This gym has potential but it hasn't seen much reinvestment in a long time. The sauna and change rooms in particular are pretty gross. Gym equipment also is getting a bit old. This is not value for money, there are better options elsewhere.

The sauna here is disgusting. Not only is it dirty but it smells of bad BO. I don't believe the sauna has ever been cleaned (I keep seeing the same dirt) nor aired out at the end of the day. There's a sign that says you need to be clean, have a towel and do not throw water on the coals. The rules are continually flouted. The sauna is dominated by males who thinks its their right to come in all sweaty after a workout in their gym outfit and stink up the place with their BO and sweat dripping onto the benches. What's even worse is the regular patrons would fill their used water bottle with water from the bathroom and throw it onto the coals to generate the steam and humidity. This is offensive and unhygienic. No one wants to breathe in someone's spit. And it's supposed to be a DRY sauna, not a steam room. The gym here is not at all inclusive and lacks proper management.

Love the gym and all its facilities! It's quite newer compared to the other Fitness First Passport (regular membership) clubs. We are fond of attending the group classes so we only spend our time in the studio. The instructors always provide such great classes knowing they are all Les Mills certified trainers. The studio is huge, has a proper stage for the instructors and it has a stage lighting that gives life to the place. Their weights and steps are those of Les Mills equipments in the Fitness First Platinum clubs. The other parts of the gym are also spacious. The showers, locker room and toilets are kept clean as well. It has a sauna (but haven't used it due to COVID restrictions). The gym is located near the Deakin shops. If parking is already full in front of Fitness First, you may park your car along Hannah Place, at the back of the gym. It's worth signing up to Fitness First if the clubs are accessible to your location.
