They just upgraded the equipment and the place has a nice vibe. Peak hours can get a little overcrowded, but the gym has nice equipment, a sauna, and a steam room that actually works well.

I would like to provide feedback regarding the receptionist service weeks ago. The issue involved my digital access account not synchronising correctly. After reviewing the situation myself, I was able to identify that the problem came from my account being linked to two different email addresses. My current contract was active in one but app using another, so the system was using an old email address that I no longer have access to. I previously worked on a desk before, so I understood fairly quickly what the likely issue was. I suggested a simple solution from the beginning: updating the email address in the system. However, the receptionist did not take the suggestion and instead repeatedly instructed me to delete the app and reset the password for the old email account, despite me clearly explaining multiple times that I no longer use or have access to that email address. I do not understand why resetting an inaccessible email password was considered relevant to resolving a system-side account synchronisation issue. Despite spending over 10 minutes on this, no progress was made. (I actually regretted wasting time on her suggestion). Eventually, i gave up following her advice which clearly not going anywhere. She then proceed to say “I am on lunch break now..” she just walked away….. she didn’t even bother to explain to the covering staff anything at all,she literally walked away. I had to explain the entire situation again to another staff. Within one minute, he updated the email address in the system and resolved the issue immediately. Credit to him for listening and and handling it efficiently. To management and staff reading this: I completely understand that not every staff member will immediately know how to solve unfamiliar technical issues. That is normal, and everyone learns through experience. However, the concern here is not a lack of knowledge, it is the refusal to properly investigate the issue or consider the solution was proposed by the customer, which she still refused to take it, when she couldn’t solve it, she just walk away and assumed the next colleague would handle for her, without handover. I hope this feedback is taken constructively as an opportunity to improve problem-solving, communication, and customer service efficiency.

I’ve had a really great experience training at Fitness First Melbourne Central Platinum. The gym is clean, spacious, and very well-equipped, with a great range of machines, weights, and classes. The atmosphere is welcoming and motivating, and the location is super convenient in the city. A huge thank you to Jay as well — he’s an amazing personal trainer who is supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about helping clients improve. I’ve really enjoyed our sessions and have been very happy with my progress so far. Highly recommend both Jay and the gym to anyone looking to get healthier, stronger, and more confident!
