We've had our gorgeous engineered hardwood floors for about two years now, and I couldn't love them more. Doug and Zohra were wonderful to work with, and we would absolutely hire them again in the future. We needed wood floors that could withstand two large dogs, and they delivered. Floor Inspirations deserves 10 stars!!!! Please read below. I am a new homeowner in Houston. I always try to be a “smart shopper”- where I get the best quality for my budget. After buying a new home, I was worried my desire to get high quality work wouldn’t be met due to having a tight expense budget. I went to MULTIPLE huge carpet stores, that claim “the best prices in town”. At the warehouse stores I visited, I was always quoted an “okay” price for fair-to-poor quality product. Thank God, I happened to work close to floor inspirations and figured I’d give a last store a final shot. It was there I met Doug, who dropped his work in store to help me, took his time to teach me about carpet qualities and subtypes, as well as padding and its importance in installation. He answered any question I could come up with. Fast forward, and Doug + his partner Ramone gave me a dream of a price. The quality of the carpet has earned me compliments from many family members. The carpet is thick and plush, and beats out quality of any other store I visited. My baseboards looked flawless after the install, although many other carpet stores have nightmarish baseboards after installation! Doug and Ramone have done more than enough to secure my business as long as I live in Houston. I am referring everyone I can! It’s great to support small family owned businesses, and it’s even better when they blow their competitors price AND product out the water!!! Thank you Floor Inspirations!!!

When our family was looking to replace our hardwoods and old carpet we were very fortunate to find Floor Inspirations. Doug helped us find exactly what we were looking for, with 4 kids and 3 dogs (2 mastifs), we needed something durable, but beautiful and timeless. Even with delays, due to the holidays, the crew worked overtime to get the job done. We also replaced our baseboards. This led to a small setback, due to wall paneling in our dining room. There was a small 1/4 inch gap, but the crew cut some extra board and filled the gap for us. This was above and beyond workmanship. When looking for someone to help with our future projects we will be back. Thank you!

We recently had carpet installed by Floor Inspirations and we couldn’t be happier with the customer service during the buying process and the actual installation. The owner, Doug, goes out of his way to help you with all aspects of your remodel including hardwood and paint opportunities - they do more than just carpet. The team at Floor Inspirations have literally made my family and I’s dream become a reality. From what we expected in our kitchen that incorporated not only design but functionality and durability, Doug and his team accomplished every challenge. Starting off with Xaquira at the design center formulating the renderings to Chris and his crew ensuring those sketches become a reality. Doug and Zohra paid great attention to every detail from start to finish. Never did they seem to be in a rush nor did they make you feel like any questions or concerns were not worth their time. I’ve had my fair share of experience working with contractors on remodeling and there’s always mishap happening regarding timelines and work needing to be redone. I can truly say that when Floor Inspirations were done with their work in my house, they never needed to return again due to any workmanship issues. We receive countless compliments on our kitchen and we cannot thank the team at Floor Inspirations for making it a reality. 2025 Update: My family and I had been so pleased with their previous work that we had them paint the exterior of our home and redo our fireplace! We wanted a specific pattern and not many installers were able to match what we were going for. Fortunately Doug and his team were able to knock the whole project out immaculately!
