Spacious coffee bar near downtown. Coffee was good, I had a brown sugar latter and should have asked for it to be 1/2 sweet but my husbands regular latte was delicious. There is a selection of breakfast burritos from Taco deli and some pretty good pastries at the counter to enjoy with your coffee. It was so great to see a gathering of kids, couples, friends, and dogs at this cafe. Everyone is very friendly and service is quick. When we are in the area I’m sure we will revisit.

Growing up in a miners’ family, coffee is paramount; strong, dark-roasted magic that wakes your mind but your nose enjoys first. I had this same experience walking into City Roosters, the aroma hitting first, profound, rich, toasted; then, I calmly sipped on a latte with an extra shot. It was a true familiar experience, strong, deep, like hugging an old friend or remembering your favorite song. I fully recommend going to City Roosters for a proper cup of coffee and unlocking a forgotten coffee-related memory.

Knowledgeable, very friendly staff. What a pleasant experience. Exploring this local roasting studio and their incredible beans was a joy. When it comes to holiday gifting, I would not want to give anything less than the best, and I am grateful that source is right here in Dallas proper. Thank you to the duo behind the bar this morning who helped me choose beans tailored to my gifting needs. They made the process clear and easy. I also tried a freshly pulled double shot of their Guatemalan and it was excellent. This place truly feels like a community haven. So thankful it exists. Only wish it were closer to me. Cheers ☕️

My wife and I made our first visit to Full City Rooster yesterday afternoon, driving in from North McKinney, and the quality immediately stood out. Both lattes were exceptionally well executed: properly dialed-in espresso with excellent extraction, balanced sweetness, and no signs of astringency/bitterness. Milk was steamed to an ideal temperature with a silky, glossy microfoam that integrated perfectly with the espresso. I also picked up bags of the Guatemala and Guatemala Natural for pour-over. This morning’s latte with the Guatemala was excellent—clean cup, well-defined structure, and great balance without being overly acidic. Clearly roasted with intent and consistency. This is the level of precision and care I expect from top-tier specialty coffee. Well worth the drive, and I’ll absolutely be returning.

First time here and it’s now one of my favorite coffee places in DFW! The vibe is so different, so much art pieces, art books, they have chalkboards around the room. The coffee was PERFECT, not too sweet and just the perfect amount of milk. The pastries were delicious. I got a peach one to share and after the first bite I was so mad that I was gonna share it. It was love at first sight. Definitely coming back for work and just to enjoy a good cup a coffee.
